S2, E5: Reunion with Childhood Friend

Expo: "Alright, how are we going to get there?", Peony: "Allow me, do you mind?" she shook her head.

He spread his wings or basically a tail cause he's a peacock, Expo: "Wait you mean flight, are you sure you can carry me?". Peony: "Don't be insecure now, it's like holding a couple of grapes!", Expo: "Nice, so when will we go?".

Peony: "How about now... you are free, right? Besides being the manager, there's not much to do as there's no customers and Sanya is an adult.", Expo: "Oh yeah, we can go now!".

Expo stood up from her bed and head out her room, Peony follows her shortly and they reached outside of the hotel.

Peony has flown before obviously but to this destination was different, flying from his parents house to here might be similar so he knows how the direction are.

Peony took Expo by the hand and carries her by the back, he begins to flap his wings and slowly lift off from the ground to start flying.

They set off to the direction where Peony came from, it was a long journey of 20 minutes so sometimes they would talk randomly about certain topic to get knowing of one another and other stuff.

The area seem quite damage and not a ton of civilization is anywhere to be found, it seems isolated surprisingly kinda brand new but how long has it been?

Expo: "This is your home country, what happen to it?", Peony: "You do know that Esriaville is still new cause it was found only several years ago, not many people knows about this so they don't tend to move here."

Expo: "Woah only a couple of years, other countries have been decades or even centuries! But that doesn't answer my next question, why is this place destroyed and ruined?", Peony: "War, this place has been through fights because who gets to rightfully rule it... At the end, none of the original electors won the country but a son did and now he's the leader."

Peony: "Well we're here now, just a heads up... my parents are old but were young when this country has been discovered so they can be cranky...", Expo: "I'm sure it's not that bad, I love old people!".

Peony pushes the door open, the house was still a mess and usually empty because two people only lives there.

Peony: "I don't know if I wanna greet them, they probably think there's an intruder here but I don't want them to know I'm here...", Expo: "After they gone through wars, I'm sure they think an intruder is much dangerous so how about we make a run for it?".

Peony grabs Expo's hands and runs up to his room then closes the door behind them while locking it, the space wasn't tight but not much has and stuff in it or any items which isn't worth to keep.

Expo: "Wow, nice view you got up here!" she peaks at a window, Peony: "Oh it's nothing, you can see many property that has gone by history."

Expo: "Well since we are here, I actually sorta dig into history so do you mind if we explore your home town?", Peony: "There's not much to study left when we're going to be gone, I don't think it's worth to use your time but there is one thing why I brought you here."

Peony opens the window, refusing to exit at the front door and steps on the rooftop with Expo by his side. They take another ride and flung in the air, gliding through the sky to spot a hybrid in the wild.

A group of teenagers were seated around a fountain, it has filth water and was in crumbles but it still has some visitors to go sit near it.

Peony drops to the ground and let Expo fall on her feet by the floor, the teenagers turn their body towards the two and still sat down.

Peony: "Exponent meet Mackenzie and Mack meet Expo, I heard you two were friends before so how about a reunion.", Expo: "Oh my goodness Peony, you did not have to do this for me!".

Mackenzie: "Expo, as in the Exponent Goat my old friend?!", Expo: "Yes, it's me! Wow, this is awkward cause I don't know what to say..." Mack: "This is awesome, I mean look at you- you're all grown up and better looking than ever!", Expo: "Oh stop it, it's just part of life to change." she giggles.

Mack: "How about a real introduction, you know me I'm Mackenzie Tobias if you have forgotten and I'm a kangaroo!", Expo: "Well you already said my full name and the last name is my hybrid, do you know who he is?" she points to Peony.

Mack: "Yeah, we know who he is. He's Peony Jeffrey, the son of Jeff Nonfind and Aloy Feathers which makes him a peacock!", Expo: "Woah, that's a quite the personal information you know about him..."

Mack: "Oh he's famous alright, his mum and dad are well known here so we think he deserves better life than with those hooligans!", Expo: "Aww, that's nice how you think of him that way but I think we all deserve a great life than this country y'all living in."

Mack: "Yeah but we're still minor so we can't really run away and only Peony can cause he's 21, we have tons of plans to do before escaping this miserable place so we aren't set yet...", Expo: "How about you come over to my city, I don't know if we have enough transportation but my hotel allows youngsters to get hired?".

Mack: "You have a job at 17, why did you work so early?", Peony: "Family problems, they kick me out..." Mack: "Oh no what happened, Expo?", Expo: "Homophobic dad threw me outta the house, so I travel far and wide to find a place but end up at a hotel I work at!".

Mack: "You know what, that's sounds sweet! We would love to work there one day, better than life we have right here...", Expo: "Tell me everything in your new life, I have plenty of time to spare!" she sat down beside Mackenzie and Peony joins because he agree to stay.
