Funky's Unwanted Promise

S2, Ep4: Mickey

Max: "That's okay, I am single!", Remy: "But you have a son, are you like my papa who got dump by their lover?".

Max: "Yes but I'm the one who dumped him, you're such a smart boy!" she pinches his cheek.

Remy giggles, he turns to his dad and whispers. Remy: "I like her, she has my approval!", Sanya: "Okay... well, enjoy the room!".

As Max and Ethan left, Sanya sighs then he notice that Expo and Peony are giving him a look. Sanya: "What..., why are you guys staring at me?", Expo: "You like her, don't you?~".

Sanya: "Well... we like her look and she's nice but it's just an affection of kindness, besides many people have hit on her so there's way she'll reject me!", Peony: "Right, you can fall in love more than once and we saw your eyes sparkle like hers!".

Sanya: "What, that's crazy?! There's no way, I'll hold the feelings until I at least know more about her!", Remy: "Come on papa, I miss having a mom and an older brother sounds nice!".

The next day, in the morning with Expo's family.

As Mickey waved goodbye to his friends, he enters the house and greets his parents. Mickey: "Hey mum and dad, I'm home!", the parents: "Hey, kiddo!".

Mickey gets praised by this parents then he went to his room, he pass his sister's room then he drops off his stuff.

He goes inside her room but she wasn't there, Mickey: "That's strange, they aren't here and they usually aren't active in anything...?".

He goes around the house to find his sister but she isn't anywhere in the perimeter of the house, Mickey: "Dad mum, where's Expo?".

Dad: "She's gone, kiddo.", his father wasn't much help but his mother pulled him aside. Mum: "What your father means is that... they left, we don't really know where they are but they're not in the house...", Mickey: "What but they barely leaves this house, how can you let them go like that?!".

He misses his sister, he was off to a sport event and stayed over a friend's house. It's only the morning and he's not afraid, he brought some items along with him and set off to find Expo.

Mickey: "Why would they leave and where they go, maybe they didn't give me a letter because the address I stayed at is different but they could have put it on their desk...?", he's talking to himself.

Hours on end, afternoon arrive and he went to half the buildings in town but not the Hawking's motel so got to the Golden Hill Hotel first.

The door slides open and he gets to meet Sanya, he wants to greet him but got cut off. Mickey: "Where's Expo, do you know them?", Sanya: "Well it depends, who are you?" just to be safe unlike last time.

Mickey: "I'm Mickey, their brother!", Sanya press the call button. Sanya: "Yes I know Expo, they're the manager!", Mickey: "The manager here but they're only 17, how can they-?!" he gets cut off by the elevator opening.

Expo: "What is it this time, Sanya? Mickey, is that you!? What are you doing here, how did you find me?", Mickey: "I should be asking you the same thing, why did you leave... leaving me all alone and getting a job as the manager- how!?".

Expo: "I'm sorry, I didn't have a choice...", Mickey: "What... no, they didn't...?!". Expo nods her head with a sniff as she looked down, he came up to her and hugged his sister.

Mickey: "Wow, I can't believe they did that to you. So you took in as a manager for a job, how did you do it?", Expo: "Well I had a past and quick experience from a motel, he took me in for pity but he was a total jerk so I set off and now I end up here..."

Mickey: "I'm sorry you had to went through that but at least you made it and you gotten stronger, I'm proud of you that you fought!", Expo: "Thanks... but you know I'm staying here, our parents don't want us home..."

Mickey: "Yes, I know. I'll leave you to it, make sure you bring me letters!", Expo: "Of course, Micks..." Mickey: "Oh, I notice your room is empty so I had to bring you this just in case." he gave her a plushie she left behind that her father didn't approval anymore, Expo: "It's Mackenzie, you know I haven't used him for a while...!"

Mickey: "Yeah but you name me after him, this is a reminder for you to never forget about me.", he smiles and they hug even more.

Expo: "In case I don't get to visit you again, I want to give you one last proper goodbye..." she kisses his eye, Mickey: "No, we will see each other again and I will not let our parents devide us!".

Expo went up her room on the employee's floor, it was a quick visit so she doesn't lock her door. Peony: "Expo, are you alright? I heard some crying, was that you?", Expo: "Yeah no, that was me..."

Peony: "What happened, champ?", Expo: "Long story short, my younger brother came and we had to say goodbye..."

Peony: "But that's not the last goodbye, is it?", Expo: "We'll never know, I just had to say goodbye..." she was sitting on her bed and he notice the kangaroo plushie on her bed.

The animal looks like a person he knows, Poeny: "Hey weird question, who's that on your bed?". Expo: "Oh that's Mackenzie, he used to be my childhood friend but we had to part..." figured- maybe he can help, Peony: "Well that got me thinking, I left some important stuff at my parents house so would you like to join me retrieve it?".

Expo: "What... you mean, I get to see your hometown and help you alone together so I can see you bedroom as well?!", Peony: "Sure, if it means to live more easily with the lost items!".
