Funky's Unwanted Promise

S2, E2: Partnership

AustinJr did a little streching before he dives into the pool, he dropped his duffle bag near a chair and dives inside the pool.

Barnett have cleaned the pool and replace it with new water, the water seems fine and AustinJr does a swim around the pool. Angela have walked inside the pool room and have changed into her bikini, she sits down on the chair that AustinJr's duffle bag was near.

She sits there and waits for AustinJr to come out of the water, as he did come out of the water and sat on the edge of the pool.

AustinJr moved his hair away from his face and notice Angela was there, she was staring at his body as his shirt was sticking on his abs and gives him a smirk.

Angela: "Hello there hunk, I can't wait to be saved by you one day!~", AustinJr is uncomfortable: "Listen lady, I'm 19 years old and bisexual plus I'm eyeing on someone already!".

Angela: "Why are man so weird these days,... I rather stick with my current boyfriend then!", AustinJr: "I can say the say the same thing to you, lady!" he stands up and walks up to a dryer.

As a water animal he can be dried quickly, he then left the pool room and went to find his room. Angela sees he forgot his duffle bag and went to return it to him: "Hey you forgot your duffle bag, I'm also sorry about how I acted...", AustinJr: "That's okay, I forgive you!".

A mailman have delivered a letter to the mailbox, Jimmie sees this and he went out to get it. He opens the mailbox and read the letter that was sent by Expo to Barnett, he wents back inside the motel and goes to find Barnett at the gym cleaning some equipment.

Jimmie: "Yo Barnett, Expo have sent you a letter and can I read it as well?", Barnett: "I'll read it first then I allow you to read it if I want to, hand me the letter!".

Barnett took the letter from Jimmie and opens it to read the message, 'Dear Barnett, several minutes ago Funky and AustinJr tried to kill me! I survived by the AustinJr's trick, I can trust him but I want you to know about this! Sincerely your bestie, Expo!'.

Barnett had his jaw dropped and hands the letter to Jimmie then jogged his way to Funky's office, he barged in his office and slammed his hand on the desk.

Barnett: "YOU TRIED TO KILL EXPO, YOU MANIAC?!", Funky: "That is none of your business, I am not a maniac!". Barnett: "That's your excuse for almost killing an innocent lady, you're not just a maniac- you're down straight physcopath who deserves to be locked up?!", Funky: "You don't have prove for that and she could be lying, men like us should be respected by girls like her!".

Barnett: "*Sigh* Why do I even like you, you're literally the biggest red flag ever existed!", Funky: "Because I'm a man who is being respected, I'm above you all!" he says this as he stands up from his chair and stares intensely at Barnett.

Funky and Barnett's face was inches away from each other, he can feel his hot breathe hitting his face and looks down at his lips...

Barnett says under his breath: "You're lucky I like you,... I hate this so much!", Funky: "Why don't you be a man for me and continue your work, I'm busy doing whatever!".

Barnett rolled his eyes and left Funky's room, he sees that Jimmie have yet again waits outside his office. Jimmie: "Holy moly, why is everything so overwhelming!?", Barnett: "Funky won't stop until he has Expo dead,... he can't be serious right...?"

Jimmie: "He almost killed them, he won't hesitate to do it again!", Barnett: "I-... should even we let this happen?". Jimmie: "I don't think we can stop him and Expo knows about his malice for them, maybe we can just distract him?", Barnett: "Yea but,... by what?".

AustinJr: "A man with malice probably takes a week for him to go out for blood, we don't have much time!", Barnett: "They only get to live for a week starting from now, what can we do...?".

The next day

A peacock is seen tearing up as his parents are ignoring him again, he was overwhelmed by their ignoreance and went back to his room after leaving the dining room finished eating breakfast.

That was the last straw and he is finally running away from home, he exit through the front door and his parents didn't even realize it.

He didn't bring any of his belongings because everything reminds him of his so called home, he flys up and goes what is facing the front door until he reaches a new territory.

Half way to the new town, rain started to pour and it was a struggle for flying animals to fly. He tries not to fall onto the ocean above him so he speeds up, he struggles for 10 minutes until he hit a building and fell on a mud puddle.

He stood up and let the rain clean him, he looks up the building and realized it was a hotel specifically the 'Golden Hill Hotel'. He tries to find the entrance and the door slides open, he fumples on to the floor and the door slides shut.

Sanya: "Oh my goodness, are you okay youngster?", peacock: "No,... please I need a place to stay but... I don't have any money!".

Sanya: "No worries, you can work for us! What do you say?", peacock: "Oh... yes *grunt*, I'm honored!". Sanya: "You're welcome buddy, so what's your name?", peacock: "I'm Peony-...".

Expo enters the lobby as the elevator's door opened, she steps out and walks to Sanya. Expo: "You called me, who's this?", Sanya: "Yes, I did. This is Peony, our new worker!".

Expo: "Nice to meet you Peony, I'm Expo the manager!", Peony: "Nice to meet you too,... I come from EsriaVille!" as he looks directly at her eyes only she felt her eyes sparkled.

Expo: "What no way, we are from MunpVille!", Peony: "Yup, I ran away from home!". Expo: "You are welcome to my hotel, you can works as the... janitor!", Peony: "Great, I can do that!".
