i mumbled into his hand.

"let me talk to you. please?" he said as he slowly let go of me. "i'm sorry,"

i just laughed, "you're sorry?"

"haeun," he tried to hold my hand.

"no, you do not get to be around me for a month, leave, then date someone who ruined my life as a kid,"

"what?" he looked genuinely confused,

"don't act all surprised, i'm sure she told you all about her 'fun' from 6th grade to freshmen year with me,"

"haeun, what?"

"are you stupid. lift your shirt up."

"what.." he looked even more confused at me.

i grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled it up to point at the reddish-purple line diagonally down his stomach, "thats the work of your girlfriend,"

"huh- i got this in the beginning of freshmen year-"

"no, i got it and it's marked on to you too," i lifted my shirt halfway up to show the same exact scar on my stomach. the exact color and placement of the line was identical,

"wait- do soulmates even work like that?" haeun spoke to herself.

the girl took out her phone, opening the search engine to type in her question, 

soulmates & scars ?

she typed in, as a notification came from the top of her screen.

"i told you, you can't get away from me no matter what:) i'll never leave you, literally."

you read as the notification quickly slid back up your phone screen. you clicked the search button, your chest trying to not breathe too heavily,

no results, regarding soulmate information- ask an expert,

you shut off your phone, "hell," you let out louder than you intended.

i scrolled down a little more to be greeted by one sentence

"scars are also left on the soulmate of the one whom recieved the scar"

you heard a knock on your bedroom door.

"yeah?" you said as the door slowly opened revealing a worried jungwon.

"are you okay?" he asked coming into your room as he closed the door behind him.
