The Eigth

The group of nine is now walking at night following young female and her flower monster.

"Hey Beth? How much longer we have to walk?" Kuby complained, as Nightmare rolled her eyes at him. "I'm starving and I can't go any further I swear!" He whines dramatically.

"We're almost there, from here on we're in Yggdrasill, where entry is prohibited for ordinary people." Beth explained, looking behind her to see the group still walking.

"Yggdrasill?" Everyone asked, excluding the masked trio and the monkart king.

"Fury, go ahead," Beth nodded, as Fury obeyed activating her powers and opening the passage to the Yggdrasil. Upon seeing the portal, they all gasped in awe.

"Beth, tell us, who are you?" Jin asked

"Starting with her ancestors, her family has been serving as Yggdrasill's watchmen for generations" Silver spoke up, answering the question for Beth.

"Watchmen?" Laura asked curiously.

"Two years ago I briefly left town with my father, to help him recover from his illness, and the town completely changed during that time," She continued explaining the situation at hand.

"Well what happened?" Twilight asked, arms crossed around her chest.

"Follow me, my house is within' the sanctuary borders." She began walking, yet again as we followed.

Time Skip...

The group are sitting in Beth's house eating dinner. "I feel so full." Jin groaned, rubbing his stomach. "The food was delectable, Beth. Thank you." Seven nodded to the girl.

"It's my pleasure!" The girl with glasses flashed a quick smile.

"Delicious!" Kuby exclaimed, contentedly.

"Thank you so much for your help!" Sena smiled, extremely grateful for Beth. "You saved our lives, we couldn't find a place to eat or crash for the night. We are all extremely grateful to you, Beth." Twilight stated as Sir Jock nodded in agreement.

"Well it's because everyone in town is so afraid of Ellie." She frowned, looking down at her food.

"Ellie?" All of them asked, as Silver himself began frowning as well.

"Ellie, will make sure to take revenge if someone goes against what she says, she has even banned some racers from competing in the past." She started speaking, and looked ip at the nine.

"A while ago, she wasn't like that. She was so nice, and everyone loved her, but now..." She trailed off, the frown still present on her face.

"If you can't take her down, then we will."

Nightmare stated stiffly, as her comrades nodded, agreeing with the her statement. "Yeah, leave it to us. One of us are bound to take her down." Silver said, smiling at Beth softly.

IN THE BOYS' ROOM...

Wondering how to beat Ellie, Jin knew he had to make a strategy, or at least try to make one.

"I told her to leave It to me, but I need to find a way how to beat that megadroid" Jin mumbled, as his friend glared at him lightly.

"You're not gonna win anything worrying away like that," One of the expert ranked racer said ever so suddenly.

Jin turned to Kuby and questioned him "Kuby, Silver, what would you do in my place?"

"You know, the gemstone is the main reason for this problem and why this town has become so strange. You see, it would do the town good if I just ate it and got rid of it." The ravenette shrugged.
"Wha-?" Jin got cut off from what he was about to say by his friend.
