IN THE MORNING...

Once the sun rose, Sir Jock ran out of his room and rushed to the one where the Masked Trio slept. The girls were unmasked and on their beds, Daniela sharpening her sword, Romi brushing Angel's fur, and Czar was fast asleep. "Girls, girls, wake up! The princess is missing!" He announced. "Daniela, wake Czar up. I'll get the other monsters up." Romi said, moving beside the beds where the monsters slept and shaking the dragon and rose monster awake.

Daniela on the other hand, who was in charge of waking up Czar, grabbed a cup of ice cold water to dump on her. This woke up the shortest brunette in a flash, and she glared at her older friend. "What was that for?!" Czar barked, grumpy. "Sena's missing, we gotta go," Daniela replied, throwing her cloak at her as she put on her own. "Move out!" Twilight exclaimed, putting her mask on. They all ran, gathering in the living room.

"Sena's gone." Silver stated firmly, looking down at the quartet. "We know." Seven replied, sighing. Moments later, Jin came down the stairs with a smile on his face as he yawned. "Good morning!" He greeted everyone. "How could you be so carefree right now, Jin?!"  Sir Jock snarled at him. "Why shouldn't I be?" The redhead questioned as his monster followed behind him.

"Why shouldn't you? Her highness is missing." Nightmare told him, arms crossed. "You'd know that if you'd pay attention to your surroundings." Twilight scoffed, rolling her eyes. "His attention span isn't large enough for that, Twilight. Quit overestimating him." Seven elbowed her comrade's side while Crowsader stifled a chuckle.

"Sena's gone?" Jin questioned. "She was gone when we woke up, isn't that right?" Laura turned to Ellie, who nodded.

"You don't have any idea what she could have gone?!" Sir Jock exclaimed, concern clear in his voice. "We'll find her, Sir Jock. Take a seat and breathe, you look like you'll faint any second." Seven pulled out a chair for him, and he slumped on it.

"No, stop repeating the same question!" Laura groaned, and Sir Jock sighed in disappointment. "I'm going out to look for her immediately!" He announced, standing up abruptly. "How will you find her when you don't know where to look?" Louis asked. "Louis has a point, Sir Jock. We should take a bit of time to analyze where she could have gone." Nightmare told him. "She could be anywhere in town," Twilight said, looking out the window.

"Sorry, if only I hadn't caught a cold, I could have sniffed around in an instant." Kuby apologized, sniffling. He wasn't able to use his sense of smell due to the cold that took place at the worst time. "It's no surprise you got sick, after spending all night in that graveyard!" Laura mumbled, the blonde pinching the bridge of her nose.

Nickkel had been quiet the whole time, lost in thought. Then, he came up with an idea. "Sir Jock, I'll need your help." He told the old man who raised a brow. "With what?" The white-haired man questioned. The magenta-eyed teenager pulled out a monster detector and pointed it at Crowsader, and it beeped. "A monster detector?" Silver guessed.

"Yep." Nickkel nodded. "A very impressive monster detector, I must say. A very big feat, especially for your age." Sir Jock admired the gadget. "What's a monster detector?" Jin asked, peering at the invention. "It's a magic device that can help you track down monsters," Nickkel stated simply.

"Really? That's awesome!" Jin exclaimed as Nickkel pointed it to Draka. "Wow, it's catching on Draka right away!" He said, genuinely surprised. The inventor then pointed it to all the monsters in the room, and Louis seemed impressed. "It seems to be responding to every monster on the premises. Is that effective?" Louis questioned.

"It is," Nickkel replied, nodding. "Each monster emits its unique wavelength, we'd be able to find the location of the princess, only if we enter Ruth's wavelength." He told the group. "Mhm! If you're talking about Ruth's wavelength, it's all up in my head!" Sir Jock said as he pointed to his head.
