The train huffed through the growing fog.

"The train is now arriving at our last stop, Ghostia Town," The conductor said through the loudspeaker. "Please take all your belongings as you get off the train."

The steam hissed off the train as they begrudgingly got off.

"Huh? There is no one at the station," Kuby pointed out.

"Maybe there are ghosts." Seven smirked, nodding at Roselio who disappeared into thin air. "Ghosts?!" Jin exclaimed, now scared. "Mhm. Ghosts." They walked past the station which seemed well-decorated for the absurd weather. Fresh pumpkin lanterns decorated the nearby station.

"It... seems a bit creepy," Ellie complained.

We all walked quietly and carefully as the sensation of this town didn't resonate well with anyone.

"It's all covered in fog," Jin noted.

"We won't be able to see anything with this fog," Laura added.

Silver took a look around and spotted a kid who seemed to be selling lanterns. He too seemed prepared for the foggy weather as he had pristine crimson eyes and a black hoodie.

"Without a lantern, you won't be able to get anywhere," He says gesturing towards a couple or so lanterns that he had placed upon a rather boring-looking table. The group stops and Jin looks down quizzically at the bright pattern of the metal.

"Buy some lanterns," The kid continued. "Only five pennies each."

"Rather convenient, I must say." Nightmare mused, looking at the boy and then at the lanterns. "That's cheap!" Kuby yelped. "Take the whole stock. Seven's gonna break at least nine of them while we're here." Twilight crossed her arms. "You're kidding." Silver's eyes widened. "Nope. You have no idea how many vases I've broken." Seven shrugged, took her wallet out, and paid for all of the lanterns.

They all grab some lanterns, everyone carrying at least one, including the monsters. "This town, it's quite deserted isn't it?" Ellie asked. Sir Jock pulled out his journal and observes it, then said that it used to be a huge tourist spot for all of its historical landmarks.

"But there doesn't seem to be anybody here," Sena remarked, looking around.

As they continued to walk down the dark path which was only illuminated by their lanterns, an idea popped up into Silver's head.

"This feels like the place where jolly good ghosts would pop out an' spook ya."

Silver said, a small smirk on his face as he witnessed Jin and Kuby shivering as they remembered the kid from earlier. "Well, they do," Twilight smirked, scaring the wits redhead and ravenette. Not like they had any. "They pop up, looking for racers to devour," Nightmare said, loving the fact they were scared.

Everyone jumps back in fear, but not Silver and the masked trio.

"Impressive," He says calmly.

He doesn't add anything to his words and counties rambling.

"They do come out," Nightmare says. "In this town, there's a ghost without a head."

"A ghost?" Ellie starts.

"Without a neck?" Laura says, stepping out of her daze.

Jin shakes his hands rapidly back and forth.

"Come on, don't be silly," He said, annoyed and a little frantic. "There's no such thing as a ghost."

A golden armor head rolls next to his legs and clangs against his shoe. Everyone other two of us recoil in fear, Jin jumping into the air to avoid it. Silver chuckles. Ellie turns towards him and Sena.
