The Ninth

In the circuit, Draka and Jin were racing against their opponents in the tournament. "That's it, now we will find out who the winner is going to be." The commentator announced. Right after, the red dragon crossed the finish line.

"The first racer to move on to the semi-finals is our rising star, Jin Hayst!" In the crowd, the group all watched the event going on without any kind of complaining or squabbling. "We just need two more wins!" Sir Jock exclaimed happily.

"Way to go, Jin!" Laura called out, smiling with Peynet in her arms. "Are you sure you don't like him, Laura?" Seven chuckled, teasing the blonde.

"I don't like Jin!" She protested angrily, not accepting the fact. "Keep telling yourself that..." Twilight trailed off, stifling her own laugh.

TIME SKIP...

It was Kuby and Moncha's turn on the circuit, and their opponent was ahead of them. Moncha stuck his long tongue out, stretching it to lasso the other monster and throw it behind him making them crash.

Before they could recover, Moncha had already crossed the finish line. "Stop playing around and race for real now, Moncha!" Kuby demanded, brows furrowing.

After Kuby and Moncha finished with theirs, it was Bibi and Wasper's turn.

"Last year's runner up snatched the victory, Bibi Lemmon moves on to the semifinals!"

The commentator announced, gesturing to the teenager.
"The final race is going to be between me and my honey, you are just an extras" He taunted, mocking his opponents. "From the moment I saw him, I knew he would be a cocky bastard." Twilight snorted, glaring daggers at the male.

"In all of my honesty, I have to agree with you, Twilight." Silver acknowledged what she had said.

Right after the bee themed boy's race, Ellie and Pixie took their moments to shine. "Moving on to Ellie Valencia's race, she's fantastic! What a goddess!" The announcer exclaimed, as the crowd began to get even more hyped up.

"It's getting in our way." She rolled her eyes. "Pixie, Bitroid transform!" She commanded, creating a circle with her monsword. The butterfly monster threw her opponent into the wall, then detransforming into her kart, crossing the finish line.

"Something isn't right here." Seven mumbled, not taking her eyes off the circuit.

"She's showing the Queen of Reflower Town, Ellie Valencia! She beat her opponent using a mere Bitroid!" The man commentating declared, as the entire crowd got even more riled up than before.

TIME SKIP...

"Crowsader, Metal Claw!"

Silver created an 'x' with his monsword, allowing Crowsader to run up to the opposing bitroid, hitting it with it's clawed hand. The opposing monster hit back with a kick which Crowsader skillfully dodged. The bird monster sent his opponent a front kick, which resulted in them being thrown out.

"Now's our chance, Crowsader. Full speed ahead!"

The monkart king exclaimed, making another letter with the monsword in hand. His monster then sped up, crossing the finish line. "The second racer to move on to the semifinals is the King of Monkart, Silver Sunlight!" The announcer declared, as the said teenager and his monster nodded at each other, proud of their work.

"Great job, Silver!"

Sena called out from the crowd. Hearing her voice, Silver looked up and sent her a charming smile and a nod. Seven began holding her breath, doing her best not to burst out laughing. "Please do excuse me, I need to use the restroom." She stifled a giggle, rushing out of the circuit's bleachers.
