Draco sauntered into the room and dropped a stack of letter on my desk.

"The ministry forwarded your mail here," he said as explanation.

"Mmm," I said half listening, biting my bottom lip, still reeling from the conversation I'd just had with Narcissa.

And her abrupt exit.

"What's wrong?" Draco asked and I realized id zoned out on him.

I snapped out of it and saw his expression.

Honesty.

That's what he wanted and it reflected in his eyes.

But I could only give half truths.

"Just... lots on my mind right now," I said rubbing my eyes with a hand, "I'm not really in the mood to talk about it."

Not a lie, per say.

Slight disappointment flared in his face and guilt began to weld up in my stomach.

Another secret I was now forced to keep from him.

And a large one at that.

The reason for his parents divorce.

I sighed heavily and considered him.

I could confide in him for other matters. It didn't have to be all or nothing.

I walked over to the desk to glance at the stack of letters held together by a string.

I pulled out the desk chair and I felt Draco's eyes still on me, seeming like he was deciding whether to press me on it or leave altogether.

"I just...I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all the crap in my house—or the house itself. But especially the things in my father's study," I said sliding into the chair as I turned to look up at Draco.

He perked up slightly—then crossed his arms as he leaned back against the dresser.

"Borgion and Berks?" He offered.

"Yes but... I thought about it more and I don't want his darker artifacts falling into the wrong hands. And the only people who shop there are dodgy at best," I said placing my elbow on the table as I leaned my head on it.

He gave me a grin.

"No offense," I added, knowing Draco—and even his father— sometimes went there to collect the more "mild" collectibles to display on his book cases.

"I'm almost considering giving it all to Professor Snape—he is the one working to disenchant them," I said with slight distaste.

"That's an option... if he wants it that is," he considered with a shrug.

Even if he did, I doubted the Professor would even know what to do with it all— it was enough to house a small museum and he would probably deem it more trouble than it's worth.

"Or you could donate it to Hogwarts?" Draco offered.

"Yeah like our school has such a good reputation for keeping items safe," I said with sarcasm.
