Hello all!!

So I'm not sure what people prefer in terms of updates... I can update more often but the chapters will be shorter (like this one) OR I can update not as often and have the chapters be longer. Idk what preferences you guys have so let me know.
Personally I like longer chapters when I'm reading—but idk.

Anyways sorry I'm in finals this week but I'm excited for summer when I'll have more time to write. Hehehe

I'm working on the chapter after this one and it gets CRAZY... at least from my perspective. I'm excited about it hehe. Lots of things to b revealed:)

Also I cry whenever I read ur comments so thank you so much as always!!!!!

Anyways......... enough of my rambling. Enjoy Y/N;)
Love F.J.

There was a jolt.

Like a bomb had gone off without the sound.

I sat up in bed.

As quick as it had come it went, leaving behind a deafening silence.

I went still for a few moments, waiting.

But... nothing.

I threw the covers off of myself and ran to the window.

"What the—"

The hedges around the property had disappeared completely.

And those gates that taunted me—stood between me and freedom—were nowhere to be seen.

I stilled, heart pounding in my ears.

I didn't know what to do. How to react.

My eyes were wide but my feet stayed planted to the ground.

I should be jumping with joy. I should be taking this opportunity to run out of the house and towards that stream by the forest.

But I stayed still. Motionless.

A feeling of dread washed over me.

And then my legs were moving before I could think.

I was running out of my room and down the hallway—running towards a closed door.

"Lucius!" I called out bursting into his room.

But it was empty and dark.

I took three breaths in the silence until I was off again.

I ran back out.

"Milly?!" I shouted heading for her room.

Her door was the next one I opened without invitation.

But just as the previous room had been, this one, too, was empty.

I panted as I looked around, double checking the corners I'd already looked at as my heart thundered.

Now...Now I was panicked.

I ran through the second floor—opening doors and yelling both names.

When I got to the first floor and began heading for the library, there was suddenly a pop behind me.

I nearly tripped as I spun around.

It was Milly.

Her big eyes were wide brimming with unshed tears.

She opened her mouth to say something but nothing came out. That's when her tears began to fall.
