Hi guys!
I just wanted to write a quick explanation for some of the more recent chs I've written about.
I know they've been sort of teetering on the more depressing side but I felt like it was necessary for the development of their post- war relationship.
I never wanted Lucius to jump into anything with Y/N without lots of consideration. I think it shows how much he cares how their relationship might impact her/the power dynamics of it all. I felt it wouldn't be in character(for the purposes of this story) for him to just jump into something.
It's totally his personality too—to be self sabotaging/sacrificing his own happiness for what he thinks is right.
I think I wouldn't like his character if he didn't care about the impact on Y/N.
Sorry if it's been on the sad side but it felt right ya know? The next couple chs will get happier—I just needed them to navigate the reality of it all.
