Lottie and I are having a girls day after our slightly drunken night out last night. We've had breakfast out already and we are currently shopping "Why is shopping and eating food the perfect hangover cure" she says as we're walking the streets "Who knows" I say and I spot Seb and Chris leaving a store ahead of us wearing baseball caps and sunglasses "Worst disguise ever" I call out and they turn to us and start walking over "Yeah well as Avengers we have to keep a low profile unlike some lesser known actresses like yourself. I was offended and hurt by that Instagram post last night as your original best friend" Seb says "Every girl needs a female best friend to deal with all the bullshit from her other best friends" Lottie says "She's mean but I like it" he says "Lottie Seb my other best friend and I'm sure you know Chris" I say "Who doesn't know America's ass" she says "That is what I'm known as" Chris says "We're grabbing lunch if you boys wanna join us unless your too cool to be seen with us" I say "We can make an exception I'm sure" Seb says.
We head to a nearby restaurant for lunch and I'm getting a vibe between Lottie and Chris which is cute "I saw your new movie Ivy some pretty intense stuff" Chris says "I like to challenge myself and I had alot of fun doing it plus I learned some Swedish aswell" I say "She really is alot cooler and more impressive than you are man" he says "I know it's why we're friends she makes me seem cooler" Seb says "How did you two become friends anyway?" she asks "We were two I think my mom went to like a parent and toddler group Sebs mom went to the same one they got to talking when Seb pushed me over and made me cry the friendship improved from there. Speaking of my mom she wants to have us over for dinner with your mom of course" I say "I can begin my winning her back plan then" he says "Do I want to know what this plan involves?" I ask "Probably not. When's dinner" he says "It has to be next week Lottie and I are taking a little girls trip for a few days and then I head to Rome to shoot a movie" I say "You've known her less time than me and your already going on vacation together I feel betrayed" he says "You snooze you lose Stan" Lottie says "Where are you going?" Chris asks "Corfu beaches sun and amazing scenery" she says "Sounds fun we won't be jealous at all as we're stuck here working" Seb says. We continue our lunch and go our separate ways after to continue shopping and I tease Lottie about Chris a little bit.
When I meet Seb the following week to head to my mom's he has flowers and liquor "Is this part of your plan give her flowers and get her drunk so she'll forgive you" I say "And I'll use my irresistible charms aswell" he says "Irresistible charms is that why your still single" I say "Funny but I'm not the only single one around here" he says "Yes but I have years worth of trauma to deal with and the fear of getting my heart broken to contend with" I say "I promise you the next guy you let you won't break your heart cause if he does he's an idiot for letting you go" he says and I feel like there's something deeper behind what he's saying but I can't let myself hope Seb feels what I did and maybe still do about him about me.
We head inside and find our mom's cooking away as usual and it smells amazing "Hi mama hi Georgeta" I say hugging them both "Sofia mama" Seb says "You break my daughters heart again and I know ways to kill you that look like an accident" my mom says and I can't help but laugh "I have no intention of breaking her heart again" he says and he hands her the flowers and the liquor "Your forgiven but on probation" she says and they hug. Dinners with Seb and his mom were always some of my favourite days and when everything was happening it felt like an escape. We've always been like family and I've missed that feeling alot.
Seb drives me home after dinner "So your leaving tomorrow" he says "Yeah in the morning I'll be back for Christmas though then gone by New Year's" I say "Christmas at my mom's this year just like old times" he says "I will text you to let you know I've landed safe and then I am going phone free for the vacation" I say "Okay and call when you get to Rome too" he says "Okay see you when I am back" I say and we hug "Don't miss me too much" he says "I won't" I say and I head inside and finish my packing and my heart hurts just a little leaving Seb when we've just gotten back into each others lives again.
