A/N: This was inspired from a scene in The Big Bang Theory, I just thought it'd be funny. I didn't know what to name this one.
"Oh, hey Bob!" Jim said, noticing him grab a bottle of Coca-Cola from the refrigerated isle.
"Hey Jim."
"So, how'd the date go with Joyce?" Hopper knew his smile was forced, and he noticed that his hands were clenched into fists. He was a bit jealous that Bob the Brain got to go out on a date with his crush.
"Not great." He looked away, seemingly upset.
"Aw, what happened?" Jim forced the smile he was feeling away and tried to be there for his friend.
"Well, it was going great, you know? That advice you gave me about the whole 'soft spot' worked a lot."
"Never worked for me," Jim muttered. "Well?" He asked, louder.
"Well two bottles of wine later and we were making out in my car."
"I never told you to give her wine-!" Jim sighed. "What happened?"
"I said 'oh Joyce' and she was supposed to say 'oh Bob' and instead... she said your name."
Hopper froze, shocked. He couldn't believe that she'd done that; the smile he'd ignored earlier tugged at his lips and it took everything in him to not grin. "Uh... Hopper?"
"No, Jim." Bob sighed and walked away, going to pay for the soda.
