The girl opened the door to the condo she was now living at. S/n was asleep on the couch. The TV was on and was disturbingly loud. Y/n took a look at the TV.
I remember seeing that movie. I hated it with a burning passion. But she's always liked it for some reason.
Y/n sighed and took the remote from S/n's hand. Pressing the red power button. Now with the TV off Y/n could hear the sink leaking. Walking up the spiraled stairs the girl noticed all the lights were off. Well, besides one room. The door was closed but she could see the light from inside the room on the bottom of the door. Knocking on the door she waited until someone said something. "Who is it?" Seven called out.
Of course it's his room.
Y/n shook it off. "It's me Y/n." She called back waiting for an invitation. If he ever gave her one. Seven closed his laptop and adjusted his tie. Sitting up from his office chair he headed towards the door. Turning the door knob he opened the door with a pull. "You sure take a while to open doors. Getting old?" Y/n joked with crossed arms. Seven laughed. "I had some business to attend to." He explained turning his back to Y/n and letting her inside his room. It was much smaller than the one at Yue's mansion. There was one single window and a small lamp with a floral covering beside his bed. His bed wasn't as big either. The sheets were messy and the lights were quite dim.
"What brings you here?" He asked sitting back in his office chair and turning to look at Y/n. "Yeah that." She started looking around the room. She sat on the bed cautiously. "So, C/n took me to your boss's mansion." Y/n lied.
And we're kicking it off with a lie.
"Did he?" Seven asked not seeming worried in the slightest. "Yeah. There was this girl. Mai Tien, she said you always look at her as if you hate her guts." Y/n smiled at Seven. A laugh escaping to make things seem more natural. Seven seemed to slightly shut down after hearing Mai's name. "Why was she there?" Seven asked. Y/n looked up at the ceiling. "Beats me. She just came up to me fan girling because I'm your daughter." Y/n replied. Seven cleared his throat. Standing up he closed the door to his room and turned the lights all the way down with a small lever beside the light switch.
Y/n ignored it and continued. "Hey, I have a question." Y/n started fidgeting with the bed sheets. "What is it?" Seven asked sounding impatient. "Mai told me she doesn't remember anything that happened to her before the age of seven. C/n said something similar except he said it started at the age of ten." The girl spoke. Seven was obviously shooting daggers at Y/n, but Y/n ignored it until she couldn't anymore. "Something you're not telling me?" Y/n smirked angrily getting impatient as well.
Seven hesitated for a moment before deciding. Heading back to his office chair he sat down, but didn't look up this time. He stared at the floor as if he hated it. "I can't hide it forever. I didn't plan on telling you this early. But it seems I'll have to." He started. Y/n waited. "Before you were born I had a daughter." Seven turned to his desk. "I also had a wife." "S/n?" Y/n asked. "No. Her name was Chau. And my daughter was Ly."
"Chau. Are we really going to have a daughter?" Seven asked quite excitedly. The woman laughed, moving her hair off of her shoulders. "Yes, Xuong." She replied. Xuong ran over to her and embraced her in a hug. "Do you have a name yet? Oh is it a girl or a boy?" Seven spoke hurriedly, pulling out a notepad. Chau watched. "I don't know yet, but let's make a list for both just in case." Chau suggested untying her apron and setting it on the kitchen counter.
"A few months later we had our daughter. So we decided on the name Ly. It was the third one on the list." Seven continued.
Seems Mai told the truth about his name.
