Y/n opened the door to Seven's condo only to be greeted with dark smoke. Covering her face with her arm Y/n squinted trying to look for any sign of enemies. "Seven?!" She yelled taking a step forward.
Everything is quiet. Too quiet.
The girl reached for the pistol in her pocket. She checked to make sure it was loaded. After seeing there were bullets loaded in her gun she held it tightly. Y/n took another step, carefully listening for anyone or anything that might want to harm her. "If anyone is there come on out!" Y/n shouted again. She felt a slight wind move her hair. Quickly turning around she pointed her gun at someone with a gas mask.
"You are?" Y/n questioned as the smoke started to clear. It exited through the door and into the hallway. The person slowly took the mask off. Her long black hair messily coming out. "Ah the doppelganger." Y/n sighed. "Like how I set the battle?" The girl questioned with a playful smirk. Y/n moved her hair out of the way. "You could have done better." She replied looking at the girl.
"Say, how did you know I was the doppelganger?" The girl asked. "I have my little messenger boy you know." Y/n plastered on a fake smile. The girl seemed to be lost in thought. Y/n didn't let her guard down however. "Well lets fight to the death." Y/n said now with an angry look on her face. "No seriously, how did you know I was the doppelganger?" The girl asked again. Y/n deadpanned.
"The mole below your right eye. Your eyes are slightly lighter and you're taller than Mai by an inch." Y/n replied getting impatient. Y/n watched closely.
She's either a good actor or she's seriously thinking about things.
"I'll fight you on one condition." The girl spoke. Y/n tilted her head. "You'll let me kill Seven with you." Y/n wondered why, but she could feel this girl's thirst for blood. Bringing her gun to her side she took another quick glance at the girl. She was wearing a tight pair of jeans and a pair of ripped sneakers. A black t shirt covered by an unzipped gray sweater. "Do you have any weapons on you at all?" Y/n asked hearing footsteps approach from behind. The girl shook her head.
"I don't actually want to fight you. Let's go elsewhere." She replied looking at the ground slightly. Y/n nodded hesitantly following her out the door. As they headed outside of the building the girl began talking. "You know, there was a pretty powerful mafia boss before you got involved with us." Y/n deadpanned. "Some perverted grandpa right?" "Yeah." The girl replied looking at the sky.
"I used to be one of his prostitutes." Y/n turned to her. "Hey, how old are you really?" Turning a corner the girl leaned against the brick wall of an old grocery store. "I'm sixteen. I've been affiliated with the mafia since I was a kid." She replied. Her eyes said it all. She was suffering silently. "Well, I know who Mai is. But considering what happened to her she doesn't remember me." Y/n stood next to her. "She was my unrelated twin. We pretty much just looked alike, and well our names are off by one letter." The girl smiled.
"My name is Mei. It was pretty cool. But what happened to us everyday wasn't. It was constant abuse, both sexual and physical along with verbal." Mei explained. "It still makes me sick even now." "Yeah I can imagine." Y/n replied with sweat dropping down her face. "Yeah, those white guys. They're actually the ones who performed the surgery. They do that to tons of kids for different reasons. They were partners with Golzine. But now that he's dead they don't work with anyone. They're pretty much an underground hospital. Some parents pay to have their kids taken there, and others are just kidnapped."
Y/n's stomach churned. "In Mai's case she was kidnapped. I was sold to Golzine. While Mai wasn't immediately affiliated with those people she was a person of interest in Golzine's world for a while." Mei explained with a sigh. "Mai and I.." Mei paused for a moment before continuing.
"I tried to stop the surgery from happening. I tried everything, seducing, attempting murder, I actually interrupted the surgery at one point. Which was risky. But I was young and she was the only girl I saw all day." Mei gulped. "I hate that bitch Seven so much. I want to strangle him. I want to cut his body into pieces and then feed him to the dogs." Y/n nervously laughed.
"So, will you let me help?" Mei questioned. "If I'm being honest I have no chance against you, so trying to fight you would be a suicide attempt." Mei half joked. "Wouldn't Seven kill you though?" Y/n asked as Mei stood up straight. "Who said I was going back to him?" Y/n thought for a moment.
I really hope she isn't tricking me or something. Sing is going to be mad but oh well. Little Singy boy can handle it.
"Okay you're in. You already know the plan right?" Y/n questioned pulling out her gun. Mei frowned as her eyes widened. "What are you-!" Y/n threw Mei to the side and shot a man in the face.
She really is amazing.
"You're really fast." Mei complimented standing up and dusting off her clothes. Y/n stared at the man she had just shot. "This is one of those scientists right?" She asked holding the gun at the man's face. Mei walked up to the corpse and inspected it. "Yeah, actually this is the guy who gave Mai surgery." Mei's eyes filled with anger. Y/n looked to the side. She grabbed Mei's hand and put her finger on the trigger. "What are you doing?" Mei asked looking at Y/n.
"Don't you want to shoot him until his head detaches from his body?" Y/n questioned leaving her gun for Mei to make do with it. Mei stared for a moment. Multiple gunshots rung out after a short pause. Y/n rested her eyes.
So many fucked up children.
Mei took a deep breath and looked at the man's head. "That felt relieving but I want to see Seven like this, or at least listen to him beg for his life." Mei spoke out loud with a crazed look in her eyes. Y/n sighed. "Lets leave before police bite our ass."
