Delilah walked beside 10k, his arms bare showing his toned muscled arms that you wouldn't think would be there if he never took his jacket off, his goggles resting on top of the black bandana on his head, the imprints of his hidden weapons showing through his pants with the noise of the chains hitting against one another every so often.

they all looked and felt clean after what felt like years, after the whole, killing Cassandra again commotion quietened down, Addison had revealed to the group that she and doc had found a small river not too far away where they could camp for the night, wash their clothes as well as themselves, and that they did.

it was awkward, and very uncomfortable having to sleep in your underwear in front of everyone, Delilah prayed most of the night that no z's would come along and chase them away before their clothes were dry.

the cuts and bruises on everyone's bodies were showing, the gun shot wounds and bite marks bare for everyone to see, but they all sat around a orange and red fumed fire, telling one another stories of their lives, how they lived before the cursed epidemic started, Addison and Delilah shared stories of their childhood, the tales of growing up together.

it was that night that both young adults, the brunette and raven haired boy, sat side by side refusing to let go of one another's hands, sending each other longing looks and shy smiles, it was then that Delilah had realised she had fallen in love.

if only she had realised that he had fallen in love with her the second they shared the bed in the morgue.

The group of seven sat quietly on the boat, running through the water, the boat belonged to a man they had found sleeping under a sheet of tarpaulin, he spoke a lot, too much in some peoples opinions, speaking of anything and everything until Vasquez held his gun up towards his head and ordered him to drive us up to Memphis. they all sat soundly with only the engine running through their ears before doc sat up, walking over to the nose of the small boat and laughed, "hey, I think I know those dudes." he spoke, grinning as Delilah leant beside the man and groaned, "oh my god. Is that sketchy and skeezy?" she spoke, rolling her eyes before moving away from the nose of the boat, getting a confused look from 10k, who seemed fascinated by the sight of two very drugged up men on a rowing boat.

Delilah refused to listen to the conversation that was being held between the group and the two very sketchy men, being in her own little world, she had barely realised the men had boarded heir boat, and would be joining them on their ride until further notice.

a nudge on Delilah's leg bought her back to focus, squinting her eyes from the sun she looked at the person who had nudged her and glared at the figure before her eyes, "well my god, isn't it little miss archer!" sketchy laughed, slapping skeezy's arm in surprise as the drugged up mope stood beside him with anxious looking eyes, "Sketchy...nice to see you again." Delilah mumbled as she stood up, nocking her shoulder against the slightly bigger man.

she sat beside 10k, who's hand immediately linked with hers in a reassuring squeeze, "Ill be damned, archer and sniper? when did that happen doc? I ain't heard a thing." the man said in his all too fake accent. "Well, I don't remember you askin'" Delilah piped up, her eyes glaring into sketchy's, a fake smile on her lips as she leant bac on her seat.

"did she tell you about the last time I saw her?" sketchy spoke up, growing agitated by the way Delilah was speaking back to him, "held an arrow up against my throat, 'still got a scar from that." he grumbled glaring at the girl who only smiled happily as she looked at 10k, who sent her a questioning look, "I'll tell you later." she whispered in his ear, leaving Goosebumps along his neck as he gulped, looking back at the two men that were now standing on their boat, like they were family coming to visit.

and so everyone stared to converse once again, and although Delilah didn't want to listen, she couldn't help but want to hear more of what the men had been up to, they were popular con artists that were thriving in the apocalyptic world and had gained more to life since the world turned bad, so although their stories were most of the time put o and fake, it was still fun to listen to.

"We're all just looking for that connection...you know." sketchy said, wiggling his fingers at warren and Addison, whose eyes raced to her younger sister, the arrow in her hand tightening as Delilah already pale knuckles went whiter then paper, "keep talking like that to my sister and warren and you'll have a scar to match the first one sketchy." Delilah glared at the man who sat with a smirk on his face, sat in a fur coat.

"That, sniper boy, is how I got this scar, your angel face girlfriend is very much not as innocent as you'd like to imagine." the man said, leaning forward in his seat, his sickly smirk turning into a sickly smile whilst he stared at the pair, without a though 10k's arm instinctively moved to go across Delilah's legs as she moved to lean her body into his back, resting her head on the back of his shoulder,

his eyes darkened as he held a glare at sketchy, not backing down as his jaw clenched and eyes narrowed waiting for the mans next move, but all sketchy did was laugh it off, shaking his head as he turned back to doc and started a new conversation leaving everyone to listen in once again as the two old friends caught up.

Murphy had sent Delilah a glance, his eyes softening as he caught her eye, nodding reassuringly, and in their own way they had a conversation, telepathically, with a few nods of the head, and suddenly, some of the bad things murphy had done went away,

key word ; some.
