"I told you this was a bad idea." Sky said to Rain as they were watching the guards around the street racing venue's entrance.

Sky was able to recall that the races were usually held around the city by a man named P'Chai

Sky was able to recall that the races were usually held around the city by a man named P'Chai. His friends from freshman year use to hang out around the venues as well as Gun and his friends. Sky called them and they were able to get him the information about this street race. Rain and Sky had made their way here, only to be left standing across the street, wondering how to get in. The guards seemed to have a list of names in their hands and were only letting certain people in.

"Let's just go home. This was a big waste of time." Sky said before grabbing Rain's arm and trying to drag him away.

"No! We made it this far. Come on." Rain said before wandering along the outside of the race.

Sky sighed before following behind him. Rain had stumbled across some old train tracks leading through the venue. So they followed them and snuck their way in. They hovered near the exit while trying to spot Payu, when Rain had a brilliant idea.

"I'll go in and search for P'Payu. You stay here and I'll meet back up with you in a couple minutes." Rain told Sky.

"No! We should go together. You don't know how dangerous these people are." Sky tried to tell Rain but he had already taken off.

As Rain ran in, while not even bothering to check his surroundings, Sky followed him at a distance. He saw two guards notice Rain and tried to warn him but Rain had already noticed them and ran to far ahead. Rain kept running until he ran into Payu. Payu was able to get the guards to leave and he dragged Rain out of the venue.

Sky turned to leave as well only to notice the same guards spot him as well. He began walking quickly towards the entrance he came from, while trying not to cause a big scene, only to find himself surrounded by four guards.

Sky knew he could've used his powers but there were too many people. He didn't want to hurt anyone and he didn't want any witnesses. When he thought he might not have have any other choice, a man came up to him and threw his arm around Sky's shoulders.

"He's my boy." He told the guards.

After they left, he turned to Sky and said, "Let's talk", before pulling Sky away from the crowd and finding a quiet corner behind a big truck.

"Was that your friend that ran into Payu earlier?" The man asked Sky.

Sky felt it was better not to say anything. He was still considering the pros and cons of using his powers against this man and trying to escape.

"Don't feel like talking?" The man chuckled before walking close to Sky. Sky backed away until his back hit the side of the truck and he was boxed in by the man.

"You know, it's illegal for anyone to enter the race without an invitation? That means you don't get to walk out of here without paying a price."

Sky guessed that the price was death, but if that was the case, he wandered why this man didn't just finish him off.

"So what do you want?" Sky asked him.

"I'm sure you could come up with something but if I may give a suggestion..." the man said before reached out to grab Sky's face.

Sky grabbed the man's hand before it could make contact and rolled his eyes. Of course he would meet an asshole at a place like this.

The man smiled and peeked around the truck before saying, "I have another race to begin soon. So make your choice, or should I call the guards back to deal with you?"

Sky could've used his powers to escape, but he didn't want to hurt anyone unless he had too. Even this asshole.

"Tick tock. Time's running out." The man reminded Sky.

Sky grabbed the man's collar and pulled him closer.

"Just take whatever it is you want." Sky told the man.

The man gave a small grin before leaving the venue with Sky in hand.
