"Do you really think you will get away with this? My brother's probably already on his way to kill all of you." One of the men said that was tied up on the ground.

The man was sitting beside a pretty boy who was beaten up and his leg was broken. Luckily though, the boy had fallen unconscious, possibly due to the pain or shock.

"If your brother ever wants to see you again, breathing, he should know better than to show up here." A woman said who was leaning on the wall across from him.

"You've made such a terrible mistake. Don't you know who my family is?" The man had said.

"ENOUGH!" a another woman shouted as she walked into the room.

Suddenly, a commotion could be heard outside. Everyone turned to the door just as screams could be heard.

"You stay here. I'll check it out." One of the woman said before leaving the room.

Silence was all that could be heard before a ball of fire came through the door and flew to the woman. She raised her hand to the fire and a small stream of water came from the pouch on her hip and put out the fire.

"Is that the best you've got?" She asked while facing the door.

"Not quite." A voice said from behind her before she fell to the ground, dead.

The person behind her had snapped her neck. That person was Sky. He had blood splattered on his clothes that were soaked through with water. Sky ran to the two men that were on the ground and untied them.

"Are you alright?" Sky asked the man as he helped him to his feet before going to check on the unconscious Rain.

"I'm fine. Who are you exactly and WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?" the man had asked.

Sky pointed to the open window that he had come through and said, "Take Rain and go through that window. Climb down fire escape and make your way to the east gate. I cleared the path for you. Take the road and keep running. You'll eventually run into your family."

"What about you? Come with us." The man said as he pulled Rain onto his back.

"I'll keep the rest of them distracted while you escape. Now GO!" Sky said before pushing them out the window.

"That was pretty smart." Sky turned to see a woman in doorway, talking to him.

"Using the deaths and screams of my people to lure me away from your friends and giving them the chance to flee. Though you overlooked something. You're still stuck here." She said.

"So are you." He replied.

The woman swung her hand in Sky's direction and water came from out of the pouch on her hip. The water had turned into icicles before flying towards Sky. Sky raised his arm and fire flew out from his hand to the icicles, melting them.

Unfortunately for Sky, by the time the icicles had melted, the woman had disappeared. Sky suddenly felt a sharp pain in side. He looked to see a blade of ice sticking out from his side. He fell to his knees before using the warmth of his hand to melt the ice.

The woman calmly paced around him before speaking.

"Why are you helping them? Or do they not know what you are yet?"

"If you're going to go on a villain monologue, then please, spare me." Sky said as he got to his feet.

Because his voice was calm, no one would realize that Sky was badly wounded. The blade of ice had knicked one of his kidneys.

"I'm serious. We deviants usually stick to together. Humans aren't too kind to things that they don't understand. " She said.

"What the hell are talking about?" Sky asked.

"You don't know? Well, how about you join me and I'll tell you everything you need to know."

Sky put both of his hands up, palms facing towards her, and a wall of flames came out of his hands racing towards her. Unfortunately she was prepared and made a wall of water. The flames hit the water and filled the room with smoke.

The smoke was incredibly thick. Though there was moonlight coming in through the window and a single lightbulb above his head, Sky couldn't see anything.

"Those people you saved, do they really know you? The real you?" The woman's voice said through the smoke.

"I can help you." Her voice became eerily calm. "Join me. Be with people who understand you."

Sky's mind began to get as cloudy as the room. All of his insecurities came rushing back.

"You're one of us. You're better than them. Don't you want to have a family that is proud to call you one of their own?" The woman said right into his ear.

The smoke slowly began to leave the room. The woman walked out from behind Sky and stood in front of him.

She reached out her hand and left it raised in the air between them.

"My name is Serene. I'd be more than happy for you to join my people." She said still in that eerie voice.

Just then, shots could be heard from the floor below. It sounded like Prapai's family had arrived.

"SKY!" Sky heard his name being yelled.

Sky recognized that voice. That was Prapai's voice. The same Prapai who had chased after him, who flirted endlessly with him, who loved him even he didn't love himself.

"No. You're wrong. They understand me. They care about me. HE loves me. And I won't leave him for some freaky bitch who thinks she's better than everyone else." Sky told her.

The more he talked, the angrier he got. Flames had slowly began to encase the room. Serene started to cough and choke as smoke refilled the air. She had tried to put out the flames with her water, but just like Sky's anger, the fire refused to settle down.

The floor began to break away as the fire burned though it. Serene searched around her, but couldn't find a way out.

"You people hurt my best friend. You hurt boyfriend's family. And you still have the audacity to try and make me turn my back on them?" Sky gave a small manic laugh.

"You're completely insane. No wonder people can't understand you. Maybe they don't want to." Sky said as he watched the flames consume her body.

As she screamed, Sky couldn't help but feel satisfaction. Everything was over. The people who had hurt his friend were dead.

With her dying breath, Serene said, "You'll see! They'll never accept you!"

"Sky!" Prapai said as he looked up to see Sky walk down the stairs.

"The place will be ashes soon. We need to leave." Sky said in a calm voice before walking outside.

Prapai rushed outside and pulled Sky into a tight hug.

"You scared the hell out of me. Don't ever run away like that again. Please. For my peace of mind." Prapai told Sky.

"Sky?" Prapai called to him.

Prapai had looked down to see that Sky had fallen unconscious in his arms. Prapai reached his hand up to place it on Sky's cheek when he suddenly saw blood on his hand. Prapai looked down to see Sky side covered in blood.

Prapai immediately guided Sky into the backseat of a car while his fathers were in front. The whole time Kinn was driving, no one had spoken. There were so many things each of them had wanted to ask, but for now, their main focus was on getting Sky some help. Everything else could wait.
