The next day school, Sky, once again, couldn't keep Prapai out of his mind. While he was worried about the consequences of falling for another asshole, a part of him felt that Prapai was different. At least, he hoped he was.
"SKY!"
"What?! Rain! Why are you screaming at me?" Sky said while trying to calm his racing heart.
"I've been calling your name for the past couple of minutes. You've been smiling to yourself a lot. It's creeping me out." Rain gave a tiny shudder.
"Oh hush. When did you get here?"
"He got here a little while ago, while you were daydreaming of Mr. Tall, dark, and handsome." Sig, a friend of theirs, said from his desk behind Rain.
"No I wasn't! Leave me alone." Sky rushed to say.
Rain and Sig glanced at each other before looking back to Sky.
"I was joking. Were you daydreaming about someone?" Sig asked.
"Perhaps someone named P'Prapai?" Rain included.
"NO!" Sky yelled before the entire class turned to look at him.
"No. I wasn't." Sky said again softly.
"You sure about that?" Sig asked.
"Isn't class about to start? Why are two bothering me?" Sky said sulkingly.
"He seems pretty genuine. Why not give him a chance?" Rain asked.
"We are NOT discussing my love life right now." Sky said.
"It's better than sitting through another boring class. So why not go out with him?" Sig asked.
"Because I don't want too. Happy now? I've dealt with enough assholes already." Sky said while looking down at his desk.
"Ah. Had a bad break up before?" Sig asked.
"I don't want to talk about it." Sky muttered.
"You know, P'Payu really scared me when I first met him. He still scares me sometimes. But the love we have is the kind you only read about in stories. And I wouldn't have gotten that if you didn't push me keep going for him. So I think you should give P'Prapai a chance. You never know. He may be the one for you. And if he isn't, then that's his lost." Rain said.
Both Sky and Sig just stared at Rain. For a few moments, nobody spoke.
"What? Why are you guys staring at me like that?" Rain asked.
"That might have been the smartest thing I've ever heard you say." Sig said.
"Are you calling me stupid right now?" Rain asked offended.
"No. You're just normally so naive, you can't even see what's right in front of you. I didn't know you actually had a brain inside that head of yours." Sig answered, while tapping the side of Rain's head.
"Hey. That was mean." Rain said after moving his head to the side.
"Guys." Sky called out to them.
"Thanks for the advice. Even though I didn't ask for it. But please stay out of this. Whatever's going on between P'Pai and I, is just between us. Okay?" Sky said.
"So there IS something going on between you two? What happened? Have you two, you know, yet? Is he nice to you? He's really cute, but not as hot as P'Payu. But looks aren't everything. Is he satisfying you-"
