mingyu felt a palm clasp around his nape, followed by an elbowing to the side, causing him to lose his balance; he then felt a force forwarding him towards the ground and soon enough the collision between his body and the stones upon the surface was all that remained from the sudden attack.
chan groaned as he swung the gun upwards and over his shoulder, "oh great, look who's here to spoil the fun," grumbling in disappointment as he watched junhui pin mingyu down, using his knee to the mid-spine of the male. minghao then appeared besides chan, grabbing him by the loose collar and pulling him like a tired mother would do to a child away from a play area; chan letting out a dragged, "what the fuck man," whilst it happened.
"i got it!" wonwoo took time to realise that mingyu was no longer stood to his side and was in fact on the floor. he looked towards the loose wires in his hands then back towards chan, who in fact no longer had any control of the situation and had been put in a makeshift time out by a nearby pile of tires. he then too just like mingyu was surged towards the floor, this time by hansol instead of junhui.
"care to explain yourself?" minghao crouched down before wonwoo, his arms resting on either one of his knees as he tilted his head to the side, the left corner of his lips rising. he reached out and snatched the wires from wonwoo's fingers, bending them in half before gripping the male's chin with harshness, pushing the wires to wonwoo's lips, "what are you doing here?" he inquired whilst he fought with wonwoo's pulling, his hand still forcing the wires against the latter's lips, "were you planning to take it back with you?" he pointed at the explosive device.
minghao had seen enough of wonwoo to know that it wasn't him who had planted the bomb in the first place; he also knew that mingyu followed wonwoo where ever he went, so it wouldn't have been him either. he found it amusing how wonwoo refused to give any recognition, even eye contact didn't make itself present between the two.
minghao nodded curtly, obvious to junhui that his patience was drawing thin; "chan," he lifted a hand and signalled for the youngest to stand up again, glaring as he did so, already becoming tired of the attitude chan had been radiating in the past minute. "you know what to do," he directed the male, letting chan have the time to have his fun and let him do what he does best.
"you know what to do," chan mimicked minghao, shaking his head from side to side as he over exaggerated his lip movements; it grew obvious now that he disliked being ordered around by anybody other than the boss. whilst in his strop, chan returned to holding the barrel of his shotgun, his fingertip grazing the trigger as the muzzle pushed against the top of wonwoo's head, forcing said male's chin to the ground.
"three," moving straight to the point he had begun a countdown, knowing that three seconds would be all he needed to force the paragon's to do something other than lay on the ground wallowing in their fears. he however gave them a chance to think to themselves, leaving another three seconds in between each word spoken; for he simply enjoyed the thrill he received knowing that he was able to cause such a scare.
"two," he submerged the muzzle deeper into the hair laying upon wonwoo's head, watching as the paragon's fingers sunk into the gravel, his knuckles drawing white as his breathing quickened immensely. it didn't take much to draw chan to boredom, and this situation he found himself in didn't fall short in doing so; there wasn't enough action, he needed more. he applied pressure to his fingertip hovering above the trigger, forcing the gun further into wonwoo's scalp, leaving the older male no room to move beneath it. chan's lips could barely open to reach the last number, wonwoo's left hand raised in a jitter.
"i'll find out who the person was!" he gasped in his last attempt, his whole face flinched as he heard chan's finger deepening the trigger. this outburst wasn't what minghao had been looking for, he wanted answers yet he got quite the opposite.
nonetheless, minghao stood with his arms crossed over his torso, his thoughts deepening as he took in the paragon's sudden offer. he looked towards junhui who merely shrugged as he too paused his movement over the pistol pushed against mingyu's head. minghao then huffed, rolling his fingertips against his temples as he shooed chan away, bending down and grabbing a tuft of wonwoo's hair, holding his head up straight so the male had full exposure to his glare, "and how will you do so?"
"i'll.." he fumbled, wincing with his right eye closed slightly, his own hand raising to land upon the one belonging to minghao which pulled at his hair, "i'll check all the security cameras around the area to follow them, i swear i'll find out who it was."
"and once i find out their location, i'll find out who they're working for, i'll find out their grand motive, and then i'll-"
"enough talking," minghao grumbled as he let go of wonwoo's hair, not caring if he were to be injured whilst doing so; he was tired and overall pissed off he had been woken up in the middle of the night, "do what you must, you have two days, if you don't provide us with information within that time limit, i'll give him permission to kill you," he then pointed towards chan who sat glumly upon the pile of tires once again.
"sounds good," minghao's words appeared as an antonym to his tone. he tapped his side; that being all he needed to do for junhui and hansol to release the paragons, the pair of them brushing themselves off and standing on either side of minghao.
next to stand were wonwoo and mingyu, the taller of the two immediately running to the other before he had even regained his balance. wonwoo felt he didn't need to say anything more; the piercing stares he received from the four vendetta's being more than enough for him to know that they were no where near welcome. he nodded professionally before placing a hand on mingyu's shoulder, turning their backs to the men and leaving for good.
"find out who planted the bomb," minghao spoke to hansol in a diverted tone as he watched the pair of paragon's scurry away like dogs with their tails tucked between their legs, "we'll see if he tells the truth once the time comes."
hansol simply nodded before moving forwards to seize the deactivated explosive, he zipped open the duffel bag which slung over his shoulder and carefully placed it inside; all before inclining a goodbye to the three others as he disappeared into the building through the door he had removed the explosive from.
chan's lips fell to a thin line as he sat in silence, both junhui and minghao ignoring his presence as they conversed with one another. his eyes followed hansol's leave and he finally spoke up, "real convenient that sol had a bag to fit the bomb in perfectly," his grumble was easily noticed by the two older males, junhui chuckling at his childish behaviour as minghao took a step forwards.
"you must take us as amateurs," he simply made his remark and turned his back to the male. his lips falling to a smirk as he too slipped himself through the opening in the building, junhui following behind, remembering to say goodnight to chan; to which he received a solitary wave.
"you must take us as amateurs," chan was back to mimicking minghao, kicking a small pebble on the ground before heading in the opposite direction to the other three.
