2 months after his visit to Japan, everything returned back to their normal lives. Work, and desperately trying to evade thoughts of each other while being at work.

Mitsuri and Shinobu decided to have brunch together, at a cutesy cat cafe. Mitsuri's choice, of course.

"Kyahh! I love cats so much!" She snuggled a chubby feline up to her face. "Try petting one Shinobu-chan!"

"Um, no thanks, I'll pass." Shinobu was never a fan of furries, she just went because of her best friend who's been begging her to for weeks.

She took a sip of tea, and stared out the window. It was raining. "Rain always reminds me of him."

Mitsuri placed the cat back down, "You need to stop worrying about him so much. Worry about him when he comes back home and gives you a   diamond ring! Think positive!" She motivated.

Shinobu laughed, "You're right."

"How's you and Iguro-san?" Shinobu asked, since her and Mitsuri haven't had one on one girl-time in ages.

"We're doing great! You know, we're thinking about having kids right now."

She was surprised, "Kids? I know you guys are more than ready, but it feels strange since I've known you since we were 18."

Mitsuri chuckled as she took a bite of cake, "I love the idea of having a little one running around! You're going to be the first aunt to hold the baby!"

"Only if you get the baby delivered at one of my sister's hospitals!" She joked.

As Mitsuri was going on and on about all the cute matching outfits her and her baby would have, Shinobu felt a striking pain in her abdomen. She groaned as she held her stomach.

"Hey? Shinobu-chan, is something wrong?"

Shinobu wanted to brush it off, but the pain was so excruciating she couldn't take it. "Drive me home Mitsuri, please. Or else I'm going to throw up on a cat here."

After puking in her house toilet, she washed her face and tried to think of an explanation of this pain she's been experiencing for the past month.

Mitsuri had exploded her phone with calls and texts asking if she was okay, but Shinobu was too exhausted to answer.

Shinobu always had a set of pregnancy tests on hand beacuse of her thing with Giyuu some time back. She thought it was impossible for him to impregnate her, since the last time they'd slept together was 2 months ago. Just to be safe, she used a pregnancy test.

Shinobu has taken these tests so many times so she always expected negative as the result, this time it was positive. Just like that time she was careless in college.

She stood against the sink and started crying. Shinobu didn't know if she wanted or was ready to have a baby, and especially wondered if Giyuu even wanted to be a dad.

They weren't even married.

Or officially dating.

Was she going to have abort it again?

The thought of that made her skin crawl.

That day she was too sick to remember to take the morning-after pill. How could she be so stupid? This would've obstructed Giyuu's new movie shooting, she didn't want to ruin things between them.

Kanae gave Shinobu some painkillers for the morning sickness. "It's going to be okay Shinobu, things happen." Her older sister comforted.

Kanae was the first person she told. "This can mess up everything, I don't even know if he wants to be a dad. Or if I want to be a mom. If I tell him, he would drop everything for me."

"Look, I know it's scary. When I was working as an intern at a hospital in college, I saw so many women terrified at the thought of being a  mother right until giving birth. Yet they're always happy to see their little one in their hands. You have to tell him, even if you don't plan on keeping the baby."

Shinobu hugged her sister tight, "Thank you."
