It was girl. The married couple named her Kei, Kei Kocho. It was a mutual agreement that she'd take her moms last name after seeing the big purple eyes she was born with.
After a few months of staying home with the baby, Shinobu returned to her office work life. She couldn't abandon her company forever, that was her dream. Refusing to be those mothers that hire a nanny to raise their kids, she would send Kei off to Aunt Kanae's house when she was busy.
"Honestly, no, I never thought I'd be a mom. But meeting this guy made me change my mind quickly." She elbowed Giyuu.
The host interviewer laughed, "Are you two aware you've been trending on twitter for last two weeks as couple of the year?"
"Really?" Shinobu was surprised. "We've been shying away from social media lately to focus on the baby."

Another year has gone by so quickly, and just like that Kei could walk on her own.
Mitsuri picked up the toddler and hugged her, "Kei is so cute!! I can't believe she can walk now!" Their kids were on a playdate.
Mitsuri's son, Ichiro, and his twin sister, Sakura. Ichiro's name was inspired by Muichiro, she always thought of Mui as her own son. Sakura was named after Mitsuri's mfavorite food, Sakura Mochi. The twins were older than Kei by a year and a couple months.
The toddler boy ran over to his mother, angry tears running down his face. "Mommy! Kei pushed me off the slide!!" He sobbed.
"I'm sure it was an accident Ichiro, play nice!" Mitsuri lectured.
"No, no, Kei can get controlling sometimes, I'm sorry. Kei, we always share! Okay?" Shinobu taught her daughter properly.
The two kids looked at each other crossed armed, then turning their faces away in disgust. Sakura
was just in the middle of it all.

After putting her daughter to bed that night, Shinobu poured a mug of coffee and opened her laptop. She began typing, whisking away any non work-related thoughts.
"Shinobu, it's late, you shouldn't be working at this hour." Her husband walked in the kitchen.
"I know, but I'm so behind on everything I've been so busy with Kei and-"
"I'm gonna stop you there." He hushed her lips with his fingers, closing her laptop. "Remember that you own this company? Slacking on some work won't kill you or your fortunes. I'm also one of the highest paying actors in the country. My piano career is taking off too."
"You've been so charming nowadays, it's like I don't even know you." Shinobu complimented.
"What I'm trying to say is that, we're comfortable. We can bend the rules a bit. And well, America made me soft."
She untied her silk bathrobe, revealing her lingerie pajama set. "I don't mind~"
