He stood outside her door anxiously tapping his foot. He had rung the doorbell, now just waiting for her to answer it.

Giyuu had a bouquet of roses behind his back, trembling because he wasn't sure if it was appropriate for their situation.

The door slid open, Giyuu wore a straight face but on the inside he was about to shit himself. "...Hey." He handed her the bouquet while turning away his head.

She was surprised to see the flowers, thinking this was just a acting sorta thing.

"Oh! Thank you." She took a whiff of the roses, "They're lovely."

"Shall we?" Holding out his hand to walk her to his car.

She blushed, genuinely. "We shall." Talking as if they were in a 1950's romance movie.

He opened the passenger seat door for her, Shinobu sliding in gracefully. Passenger princess behavior for sure.

Giyuu had picked a classic French rooftop restaurant for their "date." Afterwards if weather was swell, they'd go for a stroll in a nearby park.

"So, how's everything at work? Are my staff treating you right?" Shinobu chuckled, as they started a conversation.

"Everything's fine." Giyuu sliced his steak elegantly, "You?" Pretending that the scene at the the office today never took place.

"The same. Meetings, paperwork, planning. Nothing special. Just happy to have a model like you work for my company."

Right. Addressing the elephant in the room, essentially they were just a business relationship. Boss and worker. Shinobu wasn't even his a manger or anything, she was the direct CEO of the brand.

And they're strung in a dating scheme.

Heavily looked down upon on the media.

Just to fix the Sabko situation.

I mean, who dates their boss?

They chatted for a fine hour about work, family, other unimportant stuff, and both seemed to enjoy it genuinely. Ignoring everything awkward and bad that has happened to them already.

The street was dark, but each lampshade was on as they walked throughout the park. It was springtime, meaning that the Cherry Blossoms were blooming and thriving.

"Nee-san used to take me every the Cherry Blossom festival every year when we were younger. I was 14. We'd laugh and talk sitting under a Sakura tree on a blanket, eating Dango and Mochi." Shinobu recalled nostalgically. "I miss those simple days."

"Even at night the Sakura looks beautiful." Giyuu said looking at her while Shinobu was looking at the trees.

A vintage-themed dessert shop right by the park played music for the customers, but it was loud enough to hear all the way from the park.

Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra played.

"Oh! Do you know this song? I grew up on this song!" Shinobu excitedly jumped. "My dad traveled between Japan and the US a lot when I was younger. He fell in love with the vintage culture after visiting a museum there!"

Shinobu stood in front of Giyuu, intertwining both of his hands into hers. "He played this song for me and my sister, and would slow dance with us to it. Eventually we learnt the Waltz but to this song."

"Let's dance!" She persuaded.

Giyuu felt hesitant at first, but he didn't learn the Waltz for nothing when he was 13.

They danced under the starry night, and Sakura trees. Giyuu felt a sense of warmth and fulfillment under his skin. While Shinobu was just enjoying the moment.

His face was in its resting position, hers was beaming.

Giyuu was lost in her enchanting purple eyes. Mesmerized, no trace of thought was left inside of him except those eyes. Eventually his gaze moved down towards her pink lips. Reminding her of the time he kissed her at the concert.

Something he only regretted because he didn't ask her first. And their relationship at that time was nowhere like that.

But god, he wanted to immerse himself into her. Pecking those lips again. Admiring those vixen-like eyes of hers.

Giyuu never felt anything romantic before meeting her. Sexual feelings were apparent, but of course only for her. Only for that one night in college. Only for what happened that afternoon.

Shinobu was enticing. The true definition of "you can't find no other like me."

Shinobu liked the way Giyuu looked. Handsome per-say. She'd blush and get nervous on the inside whenever he's around, but never let it show one bit on the outside. Fake it until you make it.

The butterfly enjoyed his company. Even if he was a man of a few words, she could read him like an open book. His gestures were adorable as well, the flowers, that promise, the kiss, that night.

🎵In other words, I love you.🎵

They danced, reaching the final lyric. He held a hand behind her waist, holding the other, and bending her down. Their eyes meeting, both blushing unavoidably.

He pulled her back up, and they paused for a minute.

"Kocho, I want to sleep with you."
