Saudi Arabia GP:

Max Verstappen - P1
Lewis Hamilton - P2
George Russel - P3

Saudi Arabia went by quickly, and I haven't spoken to Charles since the taxi journey, we now have a week before the next race, giving me some time to train and go back home for a bit. I book tickets to go back home in England, and do what Rosa said, go and see my parents, which I kind of dreaded. I decide to let them know I'm coming home for a couple of days so that they can plan stuff if they want to.

Arriving in England feels surreal, my home country, back home again finally, although my next flight would be to Australia next week, unless I decide to stay in my apartment in Monaco for a bit. I get out the airport at Gatwick and I see my name on a bit of paper, and I see my parents, their faces light up seeing me again, I smile seeing them, but a little voice in the back of my head keeps contemplating if this was the right idea or not. I run up to them with my bags and hug them both.

"Oh, Mae, we missed you so much!!" My mum says.

"Mae! It's good that your home, it's good to see your still in one piece too!" And there it was, slightly mentioning to me how dangerous my career is.

"I missed you guys too!" I try to sound sincere and immediately steer away from the conversation of my career.

"We brought a surprise." My mum cheers.

"Hi Maeve!" Rosa appears from behind the two.

"Rosa!!" I hug her, she hugs me back.

"Right lets get going, I heard how much you've been travelling recently." My dad says, ushering us all to the car.

The car journey consisted of me and Rosa singing songs in the car and my parents and I catching up a bit. Once I got home, I put my things in the house and my parents call me to dinner, as I get downstairs I get a phone call. It was Charles.

"One second guys, I should probably take this." I say and they all nod.

"What do you want?" I ask coldly.

"Why was Lando messaging me that you were crying on his shoulder for 15 minutes the day before Lewis'-" before he could finish his sentence I end the call, not wanting to hear the fact he had leverage of me crying.

"Wow, that was a quick phone call." My dad laughs. As I sit down, my phone rings again, it was Charles, I ignore it.

"Maeve, you can answer it if you want?" My mum says, but I just shake my head saying that they can wait till after dinner. My mum laughs at my serious sounding voice, which she takes sarcastically. Even though I'm not being sarcastic.

After dinner I help my parents clear up and Rosa reminds me that my phone was ringing through dinner. I sigh and go outside into the garden in case I start cussing Charles out.

"Right, don't tell me, I already know what Lando told you, so what was the question you wanted to ask." I coldly ask him.

"Just why. He seemed pretty concerned saying he'll beat someone up with your frying pan." Charles explains.

"Well, that's none of your business, and beating someone up with my frying pan, I'd be worried if I were you." I end the call not wanting to deal with him. However as soon as I ended it, he starts ringing me again.

"Isn't my voice annoying you at this point, you seem to be annoyed at everything I do." I snap.

"It's annoying that you keep ending these calls when all I want to do is offer to talk to you, I'm in Monaco if your planning of coming to Monaco for a break." He says calmly, and I remember what Rosa said. You two should talk to each other. And we've both had time to think about what's happened.
