This was an alternate idea for how Copia would have found out about the baby. It was a bit too short to be a full chapter but I just thought it would be fun to share.
*After Mexico
Copia was feeling a bit swamped. Don't get him wrong, he was happy to finally be named Papa and was especially happy you were there to share the moment. However, the last couple days had his head spinning and it all started with right before Mexico. He'd been making final preparations and was being helped by none other than Terzo.
"So uomo topo, you think you're ready for Mexico?"
"Si, I just wasn't expecting things to be this stressful."
"Fair. I'm sure everything with Y/n also isn't helping."
"What do you mean?"
Shit. Terzo didn't even think about how you might not have told Copia yet.
"I-I mean she wasn't feeling well these last few days... I'd be worried if my significant other wasn't feeling well, that's all."
Copia seemed to accept that answer but Terzo seemed to make his way out quickly after that. Copia tried to ask Primo and Secondo but they were pretty tight lipped about it as well. Copia's final attempt was the ghouls, making his way down to their den.
"Hey Papa, what's up?"
"Ah, hello Swiss. I actually have a question for you."
"Shoot."
"Is Y/n acting.... weird as of late?"
"Not really, though you spend more time with her. Maybe it's the hormones?"
"What?"
"Nothing!"
Swiss tried to walk away but Copia grabbed his shoulder.
"Swiss, you know you're not supposed to keep things from Papa."
"..."
"Swiss."
"Fine... We accidentally found out Y/n was pregnant and she asked us not to say anything so she could surprise you."
Before Copia could say anything Sodo came running down.
"Swiss, we gotta find Papa- Oh, he's here."
"Sodo, why do you need me?"
"Secondo sent me to find you, apparently Y/n passed out while helping him with some paperwork and was brought up to your room."
"Is she ok!?"
"Yeah, Secondo just wanted to make sure you knew and this is a big ass ministry. This was my cardio for the week."
Copia rushes out, leaving Swiss and Sodo in the den.
"Is there something I'm missing?"
"I may or may not have accidentally told him about the baby..."
Sodo smacks him upside the head.
A/N: This is where a conversation with Y/n and Copia but I wasn't feeling it and the other idea worked better in my opinion. More chapters to come :)
