(Part 2)

"Now that's what I call a tart!" I cheered, making Trey blush at the compliment. "It wasn't that hard to make, so no need for applause." He laughed, scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment. "Yeah, as Y/n said, it's fantastic!" Deuce chimed in, taking another bite of the elegant dessert. Trey shook his head and pointed towards another tart dish that was strawberry flavored. "If anyone deserves compliments, it's Y/n. The strawberry flavor and soft texture are out of this world!" He bragged, putting all the attention on me. "No, no! Let's just keep eating Trey's tart! Don't worry about me." I said, stuffing my mouth full of the pecan tarts. "Trey's right, Y/n. Yours is good!" Deuce affirmed, stuffing his mouth full of the delicious treat. Everyone then reached out to try one, their faces lighting up with delight from the taste and texture.

"It's like a strawberry farm on top of clouds!" Ace claimed. Everyone else nodded in solidarity, their mouths too full to speak. My face felt hot to the touch as if my face was red like a tomato. I felt embarrassed and honored at the same time, I loved that they liked my dessert, but I also hated being singled out. Trey put an arm around my shoulder and looked into my eyes, smiling before turning to the rest of the group. "Alright, everyone, stop eating all the tarts. We have to save some for the unbirthday party tomorrow." He instructed. This made everyone sigh and sit down the tarts they were about to eat. "Myeh! They were so good, though!!" Grim complained, rubbing his belly in distress.

"Due tell what was 'so good.'" A voice said, startling everyone in the room. "R- riddle! What are you doing here?" Deuce yelled, startled. "I just overheard some loud noises and wondered what was happening." He explained, folding his arms in judgment. "Oh, well, we were baking sweets for tomorrow's unbirthday party," Trey explained, wiping the flour off his hands. Riddle looked around at all the ingredients spread across the kitchen. "Yes, I see that. But you should probably clean up since you're done." He suggested, awkwardly standing and getting uncomfortable. "Of course, we'll get right on that, your highness," Ace whispered sarcastically, getting elbowed in the stomach by Deuce.

"What was that?" Riddle asked angrily. His face started to heat up and look like a beet to the point steam was coming out of his ears. "I-it was nothing, Riddle! Right, Ace?" Deuce asked, hinting at what he should answer. Ace nodded and painfully groaned at his aching stomach. "Yeah, it was nothing, so let's just get you some afternoon tea. Why don't we?" Trey gleefully said, patting the younger's back, taking him out of the kitchen, and waving us off behind his back. "But it's after tea time wh-" "Oh nonsense! Remember, the time is an hour earlier now!" He reminded, fully walking out of the kitchen with the tempered goldfish.

(Time skip to the day of the Unbirthday party)

"Geez, it's really the unbirthday party today!" Ace pouted, dreading the day before him. "It is." Deuce agreed blandly. Grim and I had decided to stay overnight in Ace and Deuce's dorm room because we wanted to help them like the good friends we are. Well, the good friend that I am, because Grim kept whining that he wanted to go home all last night. "Yeah, yeah! What about it? We wouldn't have been in this mess in the first place if it wasn't for you two dweebs!" He complained, pissing Ace and Deuce off. They then got into a fight shortly after that, and I quietly snuck away, closing the door behind me.

I turned around, and my eyes were met with dark blue ones. "Oh my god! You scared me, Riddle!" I whispered, grabbing my chest. He frowned, folding his arms. "You know you all missed high tea." He stated, peering behind me and scoffing. I nodded my head and tried to brush my hair down. He looked at me and blushed a little. He didn't. It's just the gunk in my eyes. "Well, I have to set up the garden for the unbirthday party. We'll talk later." He awkwardly told, speeding out in a rush.
