Tate and Violet- Forever Yours

Chapter 37

Violet

Okay, you can take your blind off"

My heart began to beat quicker as I wondered what surprise Tate would have for me. I really hope he hasn't lured me to some dark creepy place so he can have his way with me. I trust him though and I'm not sure whether thats a good thing. I know though that he would never hurt me though at least not intentionally.

Undoing the blind from my head I look around and notice I'm standing on the beach. I can taste the fresh salty air on my lips and could feel the gentle breeze flow through my hair . I look down and notice Tate.

My heart stopped and butterflies filled my stomach as I saw him sitting on a red blanket sitting on the sand. His eyes seemed to shine brightly when he was looking at me and he looked adorable in his little suit.

I sat down on the blanket next to him noticing the little candles set out in front of us not to forget a whole heap of food.

"Vi, I hope you like it"

I nodded my head quickly staring at all the food in front of me unsure exactly what to do seen as I was a ghost and that I don't need to eat. Tate had put so much effort into this night though and I would feel extremely guilty if all his hard work was pointless. So we ate and talked and laughed.

After we had devoured all the food Tate had brought and the candles had burnt out .Tate and I were just lying side by side on the dark beach floor , looking up at the stars shining brightly in the large expanse of space. Our cold hands were entwined and I could almost feel some sort of heat or sparks that flew between our bodies. I rested my head in the nook of Tate's neck as I felt at home lying next to him.

"Don't you find it amazing that the stars we see right now are the light of a star that died thousands of years ago and it's just because the light rays take such a long time to be seen on Earth that we ...."

"for a moment are looking into the past and that one day all the lights and stars in the universe will eventually burn up and die"

Tate just wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled himself closer to me. I began to get extremely nervous when he turned around and faced me so we were staring into each others eyes.

"Violet, today has been one of the best days I've ever had. The thing that makes it special is not that after a whole year I'm finally free from that house. Today is special because I got to spend it with the girl I love."

"Tate you don't have to"

"No Violet I want to tell you. I want to tell you how I love you with every fibre in my body. I love your smile or how your eyes light up when you're happy. I love you because you make me want to be a better person. I love you because when I'm around you I don't feel dead inside.I love you because spending another moment without you by my side makes me physically sick. I love you because all your flaws make you even more beautiful to me. I love you because in my eyes I am yours. You have marked me Violet, changed me and now my heart belongs to you. My love for you is so unconditional that words cannot describe it"

As I stared into Tate's eyes I knew that every single word he spoke using those perfect kissable lips of his that he was telling the truth and that he believed in those words. I moved my head closer to his as he continued to talk.

"I know that I screwed up big time, but I hope that we can all put that in the past. I know what I did was wrong and I've regretted my actions for the past 20 years. I know that I hurt you and that if I truly loved you I would let you go. I couldn't leave you though Violet I just knew I had to fight for you because you are the sun to my whole existence. I will do whatever I can possible do to prove not only you but to myself as well that this time I will treat you as the amazing woman you are. And so Violet will you officially be my girlfriend again?"

So many things were running through my head. I knew that I loved him and that I couldn't function without him by side. I believed every single word he said to me and I knew he felt the same thing. I know it's time to put the past behind us, I had already forgiven him long ago and now he will be mine again. Looking back at Tate I noticed he was looking at me nervously.

"Of Course I'll be your girlfriend Tate because I love you too"

I slowly moved my head closer to his and he moved his head closer to mine it wasn't long before our lips brushed against each other. Sparks flew through my body as we moved our lips in sync with each other. All I could think as the wind gently blew my hair and while I was gripping on to Tate's suit was that I wish that this moment would never end as there was only one word to describe tonight. Perfect
