Food Wars is a story about a boy named Soma Yukihira an his father, Jouichirou Yukihira worked in a diner they owned. Their diner's was motto was that "Cooking is a endless wasteland". Soma's father says he will have to close down shop for about two or three years because he had accepted a job request from an old friend of his. Soma was so shocked but then his father send him to a cooking school. But that cooking school wasn't your ordinary cooking school. it was the most famous and hardcore school for only the elite to succeeded. Less than 10% people can graduate. Soma aimed for the top spot in the school as he succeeded to get into the school.
