You lie in April is an anime about a piano prodigy named, Arima Kosei dominated the music competition. But after his mother and his instructor, passed away, he had a mental breakdown while performing at a recital that resulted in him no longer being able to hear the sound of his piano even though his hearing was perfectly fine. Even two years later, Kosei hasn't even touched the piano. He had two friends named, Tsubaki and Watari until one day a girl named, Miyazono Kaori who is an violinist was introduced to Kosei. He had thought he had fell in love with her but his friend likes her already.
