Angel Beats is about a boy who wakes up to a girl named Yuri with a sniper was told to join the "Not Dead Yet Battlefront". The boy recalls that his name was Otonashi but couldn't remember his first name.
Otonashi then met face to face with a girl named "Angel", Angel took out a sword within her hand and stabbed Otonashi. And then he woke up perfectly fine but found his shirt covered in blood with a hole. Otonashi had no idea what was going on at first when he met Yuri. But all he knew was that he was supposed to kill the enemy "Angel".
