Nisekoi is about a boy named Raku Ichijou, a highshool student who is the sole heir to the head of Yakuza Family called the Shuei-gumi. Long ago about ten years ago, Raku made a promise to a girl that when they grow up they will marry each other when they reunite. Raku kept the pendant that the girl had gave him. Eve though he still likes a girl named Kosaki Onodera. One day when Raku was walking to school out of nowhere a girl knees his face above him landing on top of him. She ends up transferring into the same class as Raku. Her name is Chitoge Kirisaki. Chitoge and Raku were always fighting. But it turns out their Chitoge's family was the enemy of the Yakuza Family. To stop a upcoming war between the two families Chitoge and Raku were forced to become fake lovers.
