I applied to Browns for early admission and was thrilled to be accepted, especially since I had been a top student in my high school.
For months, I had this feeling of being the sole person headed there, until one day Shauna turned around and revealed she was also going. I felt a mixture of excitement and happiness knowing I was to going to be alone. expectedly, Jackie initially seemed annoyed by the news, but with time, she eventually moved past it.
I'm sure you can imagine how much happier ai was when I found out we would be roommates.

I placed a warm mug of coffee in front of her, her grateful smile warming my heart. "You're welcome," I responded, my own smile matching hers.
Positioning myself behind her, I leaned down, letting my arms find a comfortable resting spot on her shoulders. Her laugh was musical as she asked, "What are you doing?"
I couldn't help but be curious about her progress. "How much longer until you think you'll be done with that?" I questioned, a hint of impatience in my voice. Her eyes remained fixed on the screen as she contemplated, "Twenty minutes, maybe?"
A groan of mild frustration escaped me. "Twenty minutes, huh?" I sighed playfully. Feeling the need for a distraction, I proposed, "I'm going to put a movie on. Join me if you want."
Making my way to the sofa, I navigated through the various TV channels. A few minutes later, Shauna's presence joined me on the couch. Her proximity was a comforting warmth as she scooted closer and nestled her head onto my chest.
"I thought you said you had twenty more minutes left," I whispered, bemused and somewhat surprised by her sudden change of plans.
"Time with you is more appealing," she confessed, her lips brushing against my neck as she spoke. Her next move caught me off guard, though, as her lips met my neck in a gentle kiss.
I began to ask a question, "What are you doi--" but my words were halted as her hand cupped my jaw, tilting my head gently to face her. Her lips pressed against mine in a kiss that carried a blend of desire and affection, momentarily erasing the world around us.
