"And that's dealt with." Malvick frowned. "Still not enough power to create a body." He looked at my friends. "Maybe I should have enough strength after taking them too, with those brats power over the elements I'm sure." He stopped and clutched my chest. "No... you can't take over now..."
"Listen you bastard." I struggled. "I'd rather die then let you harm them."
He fell to the floor, veins exploded from my head. Malvick didn't want me to take over he knew what would happen if I did. It was back to his prison where I kept him all this time.
"Damn you boy!" He screamed and finally submitted.
I was panting hard, air wasn't getting anywhere in my body at all I fell to the ground as well. Exhaustion was taking me over as I can feel my happiness fade with me.
"We stopped him." I laughed weakly. "We... got the last... one..." I fell asleep.
"Christopher, Mary-Ann, Davy Jones and Zhong." Donovan grabbed the obsidian bars. "My furies were supposed to be useful, not a single one of them was able to stop four damned children!" He roared and started to pull apart the bars that quickly grew back. "I refuse to be stuck here like this!" He soon stopped and sat down. His hopeless eyes stared blankly into the dark halls of the underworld.
"My dear..." Daphne felt tears falling. "Please look at me..." She held his face gently to be at an eye level with her own. "We will free you... We can create more furies..."
"What's the point my love." Donavan sighed. "They will all fail, I don't know how but those children are growing in power. Soon they will be God like. Just remembering those damned humans having power matching us the ones they worship it's infuriating."
"I know darling... and I will see to it your removal from this prison." Daphne smiled sadly.
"How will I leave this place my love?" He asked. "I've consumed so many souls and yet, here I am unable to even remove one of these bars without it coming back. My damned father how can he place me here, thanks to his idiotic decision to make peace with them. Now look at us most of the Gods are dead or scattered about the outside world."
"I think... No I have an answer for you my love."
Daphne removed a golden blade from her robe.
"What are you..?"
She quickly sent the dagger through her heart, she bleed profusely.
"No!" Donavan screamed and slammed the regenerating prison. "No no no no no no no no!" He screamed. "Why!"
"For your dream... I will gladly die for it..." She smiled and placed her bloodied hand on his face. "Take my soul Donavan with it combined with yours you will escape this hellish prison."
Her life quickly diminished and from her a golden light emerged, for a brief period it took on her form and hugged her husband, soon it disappeared into him.
Power surged through the grief stricken god, he placed his hands on the bars and they tore them away not giving them a chance to heal.
"Finally." He let out a breath. "I am free, but I do not have you by my side... Daphne... I will erase humanity." Beside him appeared a golden bident. "With this... Father I will rule the underworld, but first I will make humanity suffer for their transgressions."
My body felt lighter compared to after our battle with Zhong, I opened my eyes to see Samantha's exhausted face doing her best to heal me.
"Man thanks Samantha!" Chris tapped his once injured arm. "Now I can move freely again."
