Waves splashed onto my feet as I overlooked the horizon, it's been two months now since Donavan was defeated. Everyone was pitching together and rebuilding our town once again, the people looked up to us as heroes. Me and Amber can't walk down the road anymore without someone either thanking me or wanting to take a photo.

Amber is a little annoyed but I don't mind.

This peace is what I fought for after all. We all visited Chanel's grave and payed our respect, then Lora suggested a day at the beach with everyone.

Grilled meat and the sounds of kids playing took over the once quiet side of New Port.

"Why are you just standing here Mr. Hero?" Chris walked beside me.

I looked at his flame made feet and still wasn't used to it, matter of fact I blamed myself for not being strong enough at the time he doesn't mind though.

That's typical carefree Chris, even if you think it's a drastic change it's so minor to him.

"Dude!" Japheth came between us. "These hotdogs are the bomb." He swallowed one whole. 

"Careful or you'll gain weight." Joshua sighed. "So what's with the dramatic looking out to sea for, your long love is right there."

I turned to Amber, she sat with mom and her father. They all laughed at a joke I couldn't hear from over here. She caught me staring and waved.

I smiled and waved back.

"I'm not being dramatic." I chuckled. "It's just that the world is pretty huge guys, and what if someone as strong as Donavan maybe even stronger decided to come here."

"Then we'll kick their ass." Chris nudged me. "Simple right."

"Yeah it is simple."

It was always simple, see a bad guy and beat them up. It was now our jobs to do so. Not for the money or fame. 

Nah I don't care about any of that.

I do it to keep the normalcy that I grew fond of...

So if there is another person out there trying to harm this beautiful island of mines, or after my friends and family...

T-squad will be there...
