Iraia's POV

For the past few days, Dux had been very overly protected with me and Yvonne. Aniya, obligasyon niya ito dahil siya ang boyfriend ko.... dati?

Hindi ko alam.

I kept bothering him about telling me how he became my boyfriend even though I don't remember. But again, as usual he always avoids the certain topic. It's like something is missing just to finish the puzzle.

He is hiding something, I just couldn't conclude about it.

"Iraia," I flinched when Dux called.

"Yes?"

May kung anong kinuha siya sa kanyang bulsa bago nakangiting inilahad sa'kin.

It was a hair clip.

Nagtataka ko siyang tinignan, tila iniisip kung tatanggapin ko ba o hindi. He smirked seeing my confused reaction before walking up to me, towering my body with his muscular silhouette.

He tucked some loose strands of my hair behind my ear then carefully place the clip.

"Ganda." he smiled.

Pilit akong napangiti nang maramdaman ang malakas na pagdabog ng aking puso.

"Hey, ahm... tomorrow's your flight back to California. Let's go on a final date with Yvonne? How about at the zoo?" he asked, as his face inches away from mine.

"Sige." I nooded in response.

After a couple of hours, we just found ourselves enjoying the zoo with Yvonne giggling about the elephant.

Dux is carrying her in his arms as she reached up to the elephant.

They laughed and I couldn't help but smile.

"Iraia?" napatingin ako nang may tumawag sa pangalan ko.

I flinched when the lady suddenly hugged me tightly. I froze.

"Oh my gosh you're finally here! And you're with Dux, is that your daughter? Akala ko talaga hindi kayo magkakatuluyan nung highschool eh, Dux used to be nonchalant towards you." she chuckled.

Napatitig ako sa kanya, nagtataka.

Nonchalant? Dux said he was the one who pursued and approached me first, way back in highschool.

"Excuse me? May I know you?" naguguluhang tanong ko.

"Oh... I'm Tiffany! Don't you remember..... oh wait you had amnesia right?" ani nito habang nanlalaki ang mata.

"You used to be head over heels about the nonchalant Dux who kept rejecting you. Nagmumukha ka ngang desperada dati eh dahil habol ka ng habol hindi ka naman pinapansin. He had Cloe, his sister transferred though. But I guess he didn't tell you?" nagtatakang aniya.

My mind ached. Napapikit ako ng mariin at mabilis na napatakip ng tenga nang marinig ang mga sigaw.

It was voices, lingering through my mind.

"Iraia!" I heard his voice called my name, then he touched me.

The moment he touched my skin, was the moment my mind played like a fast projector, projecting all our memories.

My heart was filled with a tumultuous flood of emotions as it started beating rapidly.

The moment where I first met him, those small dates, misunderstanding and that afternoon. The way he confessed his
feelings towards me, I was there.
It all came back to me.
