Anouk's pov

I had finally gotten the green light to play matches again and I couldn't be happier. Jonas told me that I would start on the bench but I would definitely get to play minutes in the game and my new GoPro had also finally came in.

I was making great progress and the medication for anxiety really helped me. Leah had just decided to move in with me to make a lot of things a lot easier. It was bound to happen sooner or later with a lot of her stuff already moving my way. We were both comfortable with it.

I woke up earlier than Leah and decided to go for a light run, having the GoPro with me to vlog my day. When I came back, Leah had already made breakfast for us and packed us some snacks for the drive towards Tottenham. I thanked her for making breakfast and we munched it in silence, until she broke said silence. "How are you feeling?" I chuckled. "Uh, very nervous. I'm feeling a lot of anxiety." She nodded her head. "Did you take your medication?" I shook my head. "Not yet." She stood up from the chair without saying anything and grabbed me a glass of water with my medication. I swallowed the little pills with ease.

After I freshened up, I got in our travel kit, hiding a tiny bottle in a hidden pocket and grabbed our bags, loading them into my BMW and I drove us to the Arsenal facility.

When we were all settled in the bus, Kim looked at me. "Since you, our sweet young Anouk, are cleared for the match again, we decided that you get the aux today. A little birdie also told us that you're able to sing?"

I got flustered but recollected myself fast, my confident smirk settlibg itself on my lips. "Well, what do you want to hear?"

Jill smirked and looked at me. "How about a challenging one?" I cocked my eyebrow. "What are you thinking about Roord?" She smiled. "Céline Dion It's All Coming Back To Me Now." I laughed. Leah looked at Katie. "Did you know that she can sing?" Katie shook her head. "No idea." Leah smirked. "Wanna bet that she can hit all the notes?" Katie agreed and they shook on it.

Now I had to do it. I connected my phone to the bluetooth of the bus and sat up, starting the song.

"There were nights when the wind was so cold
That my body froze in bed
If I just listened to it right outside the window
There were days when the sun was so cruel
That all the tears turned to dust
And I just knew my eyes were drying up forever (forever)

I finished crying in the instant that you left
And I can't remember where or when or how
And I banished every memory you and I had ever made

But when you touch me like this
And you hold me like that
I just have to admit that it's all coming back to me
When I touch you like this
And I hold you like that
It's so hard to believe, but it's all coming back to me
It's all coming back, it's all coming back to me now

There were moments of gold
And there were flashes of light
There were things I'd never do again
But then they'd always seemed right
There were nights of endless pleasure
It was more than any laws allow
Baby, baby

If I kiss you like this
And if you whisper like that
It was lost long ago, but it's all coming back to me
If you want me like this
And if you need me like that
It was dead long ago, but it's all coming back to me
It's so hard to resist, and it's all coming back to me
I can barely recall, but it's all coming back to me now
But it's all coming back
