Season 1; Chapter 10; Fiorentina and Brighton and Hove Albion

Anouk's pov

While Leah was staying with me and since we were official, I have been feeling a lot more relaxed. She did tell me that she likes to keep her private life as much away from her social life as she can and I respect that. I do have accounts and people follow me, but the only things that I really post are the pranks that Katie and I pull on our teammates and on TikTok I'm mostly participating with trends.

Jackie and Katie knew about Leah and I being officially together, but the other girls didn't.

I woke up early in the morning. Tomorrow was the match against Fiorentina but Jonas told me yesterday that I wouldn't be part of the team because he wanted to save me for the league match against Brighton and Hove Albion.

When I woke up, I saw Leah's face contorted into discomfort in her sleep. I looked down the bed and that's when I saw it. I gently shook her awake, kissing her temple. "Le, wake up." She groaned and shoved me away. I smiled to myself and gently grabbed her arms, kissing her cheek. "Baby, come on, wake up." She opened one eye at the new nickname. I smiled at her. "Hi." She groaned. "I know baby, come on, let's get you to the shower." She raised one of her eyebrows and then looked down to see what I had seen and she groaned again. "Not today." I smiled gently at her and gently pulled her arms to get her out of bed. "Come on."

She complied and I helped her get into the shower. "Will you be okay from here?" She nodded her head. "Sorry about your bed." I shook my head. "Nah, don't worry about that. Just scream my name when you need me, okay?" She nodded her head.

I quietly left the bathroom and walked back to the bedroom where I took the sheets and threw them into my washing machine, putting a new set of sheets on my bed. Then I prepared my heating pad and got everything ready. The girls had to play the match against Fiorentina tonight. I went downstairs and into my kitchen where I made a simple and plain ham sandwich and also brought that upstairs together with pain killers.

I heard the shower still running and knocked on the door. "Leah? Are you okay in there?" "Yes I'm fine!" "Okay! I will go out for a run, but I will be back soon! There's a heating pad and I made you breakfast! A ham sandwich! There are also chocolates! Call me if you need anything, I will have my phone with me!"

"Alright, thank you!"

I listened to her response and then I changed into my running gear and went out the front door, making sure that I had my phone and keys on me. Thank the lord for pants with pockets.

Leah's pov

My period cramps could get really bad, so when Anouk woke me up in the morning, I really didn't want to get out of her bed. I was kind of embarassed that I had bled through into her sheets. I was enjoying the shower though. When I felt clean enough, I got out of the shower, got a tampon and a pad. I pushed the tampon inside of me and put the pad into my underwear and then got into some trainers. I walked into the bedroom and got myself comfortable with the heating pad and ate the ham sandwich that she had made. She's so caring. It's crazy.

It's been a while since I've been laying in bed. The painkillers helped me, but the cramps were still there. I was starting to worry about her when I heard the front door open and close. I heard shuffling of feet and soon she appeared in the door opening, sweaty from her run but it looked good, especially the way that her clothes were sticking to her toned body. "Hey, how are you feeling?" I scrunched my face. "Not the best, but this also isn't the worst that I've had. I should be fine to play the match tonight. How was your run?" She grabbed some clothes from her closet to wear after her shower. "It was good. I went for 15 kilometres today. My legs feel good." My eyes widened. "You just ran 15 kilometres?" She nodded. "Yeah, why?" I shook my head lightly. "Nothing, that's just pretty damn impressive."
