Season 1; Episode 30; New Interests

While Anouk was enjoying the scenery, her phone started to ring. She picked it up without looking at who it was.

"Hola?"

"Hola Anouk, I just wanted to check in on how you're doing. I saw the news, I think that you did too?"

Anouk sighed lightly, the voice at the other end grieving slightly.

"Yeah, I did. I'm doing moderately okay. How about you?"

The other person sighed slightly.

"I'm okay. The news is a real bummer though." Anouk sighed deeply, thinking of ideas.

"Hey, the curfew starts in like, 30 minutes. You mind if I come over?"

The other voice lit up like it was a party, her whole demeanor changed.

"Oh yeah! You can definitely come! You will have to stay the night."

Anouk smiled softly. "That's not a problem at all. I will see you soon."

The other person giggled as they hung up. Anouk then closed her window, packed some stuff that she would be needing for spending the night and bounced downstairs, standing in front of the married couple, bouncing slightly from her heels to her toes. "Hey! Uhm, do you mind if I loan a car?"

The couple looked surprised, their eyebrows shooting up, the blonde therapist being the one that reacted. "You can use my car. Where are you going anyways? Curfew is in 25 minutes."

Anouk just smiled. "Oh, I know. Don't worry. I will be safe and no, there won't be any alcohol or drugs involved. I will be back tomorrow."

Alexia nodded her head, feeling very responsible over the girl that was standing in front of them. The smile that on the younger player's face was rare because it was real. "Just let us know when you're there safely, okay?"

Anouk nodded her head. "I will. Mom."

The three laughed and Alexia waved the young player away while blushing in emberassment.

Anouk laughed and winked at Alexia. "I do appreciate the concern Capitana. Cross my heart, swear to die, I will be safe." The three women laughed and then Anouk bounced away, grabbing Thalia's car keys and she made sure to have her own keys with her and then she was gone.

20 minutes later the couple on the couch got the message that Anouk had arrived safely at her destination.

Anouk got out of the car and locked it and then got up to the front door and rang the doorbell. She didn't have to wait long until the brunette opened the door for her, that adorable smile plastered on her face. "Hola Anouk."

Anouk smiled back and hugged the other brunette. "Hola Aitana. How are you doing?" Aitana smiled and hugged Anouk back. "I'm doing better now that you're here."

Anouk blushed and they broke the hug, Aitana letting Anouk inside of her house. Anouk walked around, admiring Aitana's small, yet cozy home. "You don't live with anyone from the team?" Aitana walked woth Anouk, giving a small tour. "Mapi also lives here but she's off... somewhere. I don't even know where to be honest." Anouk laughed, the two of them sitting down on Aitana and Mapi's couch, Aitana putting some music on in the background and grabbing them both a glass of water.

"How do like it here in Barcelona?" Anouk pulled her knees up and hugged her arms around them, getting herself comfortable. "I'm really loving it here. It helps that Lieke and Stefanie are also here, a Dutch sense ya know, but other than that, I absolutely love the warm weather and I'm just in love with the city and the club. I used to say that my heart and soul belong to Arsenal, but I'm really not sure about that anymore."
