BEYOND WORDS
Chapter fifteen.
It was a stressful weekend for umar, he has been working all week and now that it was weekend, he thought he would rest but nah, he wasn't resting, things has been bulky at the office and he had to clear them before another week begins.
His phone vibrated notifying that he just received a message, he ignored it and continue typing the laptop in front if him, he has been receiving messages from this unknown number but he never replied, at first he thought it was that bitch, you know who I'm talking about but now he has started to think otherwise.
His phone started to ring this time, it was a call not a message, he smiled before picking the call.
"Assalamu alaikum habibty "
He said resting his back on the chair.
"Wa'alaikumul salaam, how's work? "
"Alhamdulillah, but very stressful "
He replied her.
"Allah ya taimaka(may Allah guide the process), has your father called you? "
She asked and you could sense from her voice that something was wrong.
"No he haven't, why? Did something happened? "
He asked curiously.
"No nothing, just try and come back early please"
She said.
"Habibty I really don't think I can come home early because I have so much work to do"
He replied.
"Please just try, its important "
She said and immediately hung up making him feel suspicious, is something wrong? He asked himself, maybe its about what he told his father the day he came back from sumayyahs.
He confronted his dad about the marriage proposal, and as umar expected he showed his anger and declined, hajiya sadiya talked to him too hoping he'll hear her words but who's she kidding? We are talking about alhaji Suleiman sani, the most strict and strong headed father I have ever come across.
That even resulted to them exchanging words, no body could see or watch thier parents fighting especially over them and be happy right? So he left the house till the following morning.
He had no choice than to go home early.
He finished the work when almost magrib prayer(7pm), so he went to the company's mosque and prayed before heading home praying that whatever it was, it should come easy.

Since the day Umar proposed to her, he hasn't called her which made her very upset, no calls, no messages, no chats nothing nothing, and neither did her mother talked to her about it too, and of course you don't expect her to talk to her mother about something like this right?.
She talked to Aisha about it because she really could not take it anymore, she wanted to call him and hear his voice so badly, she wanted to see him and talk to him about what he said, but Aisha told her not to.
In her saying that if he truly loves her then he'll contact her first, even though sumayyah doesn't believe in these sayings but she couldn't call him.
Guys I know y'all feeling like to strangle me rn but I'm so sorry 😭.
I kept you guys waiting for very long and on top of that, I gave you a very short chapter 😭.
Scold me and beat me all you want, but thats not what I wanted too.
I have been very busy with school and other stuffs, the worst part is that I am not even giving you guys update again anytime soon because ahh, before this school will finish me, I'll finish it😂.
Okay how was the chapter? I hope it wasn't boring😭, and why is umar needed at home?
