BEYOND WORDS
Chapter twenty five.
"I'll be going out now, you know mufida right, hajiya Atika's daughter, she got admitted at the hospital so I'll go and see her, take a good care of yourself before I comes back since the house is surrounded by snakes under the green grass"
Hajiya mansura said to her daughter.
"Subhanallah tell her I'm wishing her a quick recovery, get back safely"
Sumayyah replied.
Hajiya mansura knew it was all her fault, she didn't tell sumayyah what was happening about umar's marriage and the plan of them getting married before the time of his other marriage.
Had it been she told her, she wouldn't feel betrayed and all.
Aisha knew what she did was wrong, not loving umar though but announcing that she loved him.
She was feeling guilty and wanted to go apologize to sumayyah but she didn't know how to do that because she knew sumayyah would never give her a chance to talk.
After staying in her room for hours, she heard car horn notifying that her mother was back from her work place, after she was sure that her mother has entered her room, she followed her.
"Ammie I messed up"
She said entering the room.
Farida who was tired turned and looked at her daughter and asked what happened.
Aisha narrated everything that happened earlier, "I've been feeling guilty but I don't know how to apologize to her"
Aisha said but her mother glared at her and said
"Apologize for what?what wrong did you do to her that requires apology? Don't even start that nonsense, you love him right then forget all these girls and put it in mind that you'll get him"
Her mother said.
"Yes I do love him but.. "
Before she could finish her mother interrupted her by saying
"But what? I said you shouldn't worry because he is yours alone"
"And that thought of you apologizing to sumayyah, shun it"
"But what if she confronts me about it?"
Aisha asked.
"Tell her your mind and show her that you love him and then you must get him, show no fear, are you not my daughter "
Her mother gingered her.
"Thank you Ammie I love you"
She said before hugging her mother.
"I love you too, okay I'm tired let me get some rest"
She said to Aisha as she broke the hug...

"Has your mother come back?"
Alhaji lawal asked sumayyah who he saw coming out from the kitchen, he was just coming back from office too.
"No but I'm sure she'll be back soon, welcome daddy"
"Thank you, when she comes back, tell her that I wants to see both you and her"
He said and went towards his part.
"Okay".
Sumayyah went and sat in the parlor waiting for her mother to come back, just then Aisha came out from her room, sumayyah looked at her but immediately took her eyes off her feeling the pain arousing. Someone she trusts did that to her.
Aisha was going to get a drink from the fridge in the kitchen and go back to her room, but seeing sumayyah in the parlour made her sat there too and began to sing.
What the heck!!!
was she not feeling remorse after what she did? Wow.
But sumayyah ignored her and continue watching TV while waiting for her mother.
Not long, her mother came in and saw the two girls sitting in the parlor, after what happened?
She thought sumayyah was angry with Aisha then what happened now?.
All of them turned but only sumayyah answered the salaam.
Hajiya mansura went straight to her room with Sumayyah trailing behind her.
"Welcome mummy, how's mufida's health now?"
Sumayyah asked.
"She's better alhamdulillah, they will be discharged tomorrow I heard from her mother, so when they gets back home, we will go and check on her together"
"Okay in sha Allah"
"Ehm mummy daddy wants to see us, he told me to tell you that he wants to see us"
Sumayyah said to her mother.
Hajiya mansura knew what it was about so she nodded and and told her daughter that she'll take a quick bath and meet her.
Not long, hajiya mansura called sumayyah and told her to meet them in her father's parlor and she did so.
"Sumayyah I believe your mother has told what we are here for"
Alhaji lawal said.
Sumayyah looked up to her mother before saying "no, she didn't tell me anything daddy"
"Yes I didn't tell her, I want her to hear it from your mouth"
"Okay then, its all good, so ehm sumayyah your mother told me about someone that's seeing you"
Her father said and her heart skipped, are they going to talk to her about marriage? With him? But he betrayed her for crying out loud and her mother knows it.
Both hajiya mansura and alhaji lawal saw the panic in her eyes so her mother said"don't worry,let me explain everything to you"
And she began.....
After hearing the story, sumayyah had tears rolling down her cheeks, poor umar, so that's what's he was going through all because of the love he has for her and here she is rejecting his calls and snubbing his messages, but wait! She has the right to be angry with him, he hid such thing from her, he should have told her everything, but wait! He told her mother, he came with his mother and explained things to her mother meaning he took her serious and he loves her this much.
At that time, she wished she could just see him and hug him tight and comfort him, she knew he was going through alot. Even his own father is pissed at him all because of her, she wouldn't dare imagined the kind of pain he was in.
"Alhaji I think we should give her time"
Her mother said and her father nodded in agreement.

I don't have anything to say today seeing how all of you are near to beating me😭😂
