BEYOND WORDS
Chapter twenty two.
Just then the door opened again and a beautiful young lady appeared with a food flask in her hands.
"Assalamu alaikum"
She said coming into the office but immediately stopped seeing him with another lady even though it seemed that he wasn't interested in whatever she was saying.
He heard the voice and immediately looked up and saw the most beautiful lady he had ever seen, the only lady that can change his mood from bad to good, but what was she doing there? And how did she found his work place? It was a surprise for him and he happily replied the salaam.
"Oh you're busy, I'll just wait for you outside"she said and turned to leave but his manly voice stopped her.
"No no I'm not busy, come in, she's not important"
He said which made the already angry safy threw a death glare at both sumayyah and Umar.
He stood up and led her to sit on the couch at the far end of the gigantic office, she sat down and kept the food flask on the floor beside her.
Sumayyah didn't say or do anything instead she started fidgeting with her fingers while looking down.
He went and off the laptop before taking the extra chair which was opposite safy and sat down on it in front of sumayyah.
He acted as if there was no human in the office apart from him and sumayyah.
"Hey beauty, how are you?"
He asked looking at her smiling.
"there is someone in here, don't flirt "
She said to him more like a whisper but loud enough for him to hear her.
That was when he turned and gave safy a glance before saying.
"oh she, she is actually not important"
He said loud enough for safy to hear and yeah she heard him.
Her eyes which have started turning red became watery, she got frustrated and walked up to them and said
"Trust me Umar, you will regret this"
She uttered and gave sumayyah a very dirty look before walking out of the office.
"What was that? What did she mean? "
A confused sumayyah asked.
"I told you she's not important so let's not talk about her right now"
"I am very surprised though, how did you find this place? "
He asked looking at her innocent face.
"I'm glad you are surprised, that was the plan "
She said as they both laughed.
"I actually went to visit my aunt, so I saw a magazine and read it, and I saw some news about this company, I got interested in wanting to know more about it, so I searched for the company's name on internet and it showed me so many things about it including a photo of the CEO of the company"
"Wowww, I never knew you talk this much"
He teased as they both laughed again.
"So I lied to her that I was going to visit my friend who got admitted at the hospital, and she made me prepare this for the sick friend "
She said pointing at the food flask smiling.
"You lied just to come see me?"
He asked playfully.
"Now you should eat so I can go back home early"
She said opening the flask.
"Okay okay madam, but how did you get access to my office? "
"Stop asking questions and eat, are you not happy I'm here?I also lied that mummy sent me to give you food and they allowed me "
She said pouting.
"Happy is an understatement, I am more than excited to see you, and you know the romantic part of it is that I wasn't even expecting you, and I'm damn hungry "
"I never knew you talk this much "
She repeated his words as they smiled.
She served him the food as he ate much of it, he drank the cold Pepsi she came along with.
"You are a good cook, I'm never regretting my decision of choosing you as my lifetime partner "
She blushed and hid her face with her palms as he laughed at her.......

"How dare him do that to me, how dare she came to my umar's office, how dare them"
She shouted destroying everything she found in her room.
"Umar you will regret this I promise you, no girl apart from me can have you, you are mine alone, you are mine and mine only and I won't sit and watch a classless and unworthy girl take you away from me, I can take anything but not loosing you umar, I can't "
She said crying and scattering the room.
Her mother who was in the kitchen heard noise from her daughter's room and rushed to see what the matter was, upon her reaching the room, she found safy sitting on the floor crying with the room all scattered.
"Innalillahi, what happened? What is it safy?"her mother worriedly asked going to where she was seated.
"Just leave me alone mum, you and daddy told me that umar is mine and he is going to marry me, but why is he always maltreating me? Am I not beautiful mummy? What is it that I don't have that's making Umar treat me like a piece of trash? "
She asked her mother still crying profusely.
"You have everything my baby, what is it tell me, calm down and tell me what happened ".
