Apologies, I couldn't find a suitable title.

Shorter than Yuichiro's lifespawn! (1k+, I'm not that mean 😔)

Quite fluffy 🫡

-----------

(Muichiro's POV)

That went on for quite a long time, I must admit that I overwhelmed him.

I of course do feel guilty about it, but I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't satisfied with what I did.

I had Tanjiro's consent to continue all along. I made sure to ask multiple times, he even told me that I sounded like a broken record - weird.

--------

After what we had done, Tanjiro said that he couldn't feel his legs anymore, like a ragdoll.

I have to admit that it was quite the sight.

The aftercare was simple. I carried him to the bathroom and set him on the edge of the sink.

He didn't look at me even once as I set the water on the tub, flustered. Cute. It was as if a little bit of teasing would kill him on the spot.

-------

(Nobody's pov)

Muichiro carried Tanjiro into the bathtub. The feeling of warm water surrounding him made him let out a sigh.

The hashira entered the water after him, taking a seat behind him so his legs were on either side of his lover's body.

"This feels good…" Tanjiro said, his sore muscles slightly relaxing in the warm water.

Muichiro hummed before reaching out for the shampoo. He poured a generous amount in his palm and started gently washing Tanjiro's hair, being careful not to get soap in his eyes.

"Just relax," he murmured, massaging his scalp.

-------

After the bath, they settled down in Muichiro's bed - the only one in the estate.

The limited space forced them to stay close to each other, not that any of them minded the close proximity.

Tanjiro tensed up slightly as Muichiro scooted closer, wrapping an arm around his waist from behind.

"Can I?" the long-haired boy asked, resting his head on his lover's shoulder.

The crimson-haired boy nodded, turning over to face him. Despite still being a bit shocked by the turns of events, he knew that his feelings for the boy in front of him were not jokes or simple lust, but love.

----------

In the morning, Muichiro woke up earlier than Tanjiro who was utterly spent.

Reluctantly leaving the comfortable bed and embrace, he headed to the kitchen and made some breakfast - random ingredients mixed together.

He stared at it in silence.

He definitely wasn't trying to poison Tanjiro, but dear God - that didn't look edible.

With a sigh, he threw all of that away, decided to take a croissant and call it a meal.

When Muichiro heard some muffled sounds coming from his room, he knew that his lover was awake.

With the slightest bit of a smile, he walked to the room before carefully opening the door.

As expected, he was met with the sight of an awake Tanjiro that was struggling to sit up.

"Good morning… How are you feeling?" Muichiro asked, unsure of what to say when his partner was in a visibly disheveled state.

The crimson-haired boy looked up at his arrival, the corner of his lips tugging into his usual smile.

"Good morning, Muichiro! Not in the best shape but I don't think I'll have any mission today, so it's perfectly fine!" He said, wincing a bit as he tried to sit up properly. He was deliberately trying to avoid sounding like he was complaining about the soreness taking over his whole body.

"Good." the hashira simply answered before walking over, pushing him back on the bed with a hand to his chest. "Don't sit up. Rest."

That sentence was met with a light huff from Tanjiro. It didn't go unnoticed, but Muichiro ignored it.

The long-haired boy placed a tray of food that contained a croissant and cut fruit placed in a bowl down on the nightstand, earning thanks from Tanjiro.

"I'm going for a walk", Muichiro started. "I'll be back in around 15 minutes, eat your breakfast while I'm gone."

The crimson-haired boy nodded, "Wait, come closer?" he requested.

The hashira leaned down, confused before receiving a kiss on the cheek.

"Goodbye kiss!" Tanjiro beamed while Muichiro's cheeks flushed in a bright red color.

That kiss made his heart flutter in a way he didn't understand, but it definitely was a good feeling.

Before Muichiro knew it, he left the room in a hurry, not wanting Tanjiro to catch his slightly flustered expression.

The boy let out a light-hearted chuckle at that adorable reaction.

------

(Muichiro's pov)

While I searched for a calm place to go to, I was met with the sight of a not-so-peaceful event - two guys sharing a passionate kiss.

From what I see, they are two hashiras - they both have golden buttons instead of plain, grey ones that ordinary demon slayers wear.

I didn't try to spot details since I didn't want to look at this any longer. The only things that I spotted were that one of them had white hair and that the other one had black hair.

What were they, the ying yang?

Whatever. They should definitely work on keeping the public display of affection down.

Just when I was about to turn away, a lady - a hashira with a beautiful butterfly hairpin walked past me, stopping in front of them.

That smile of hers was visibly a facade, but pointing it out was pointless and would seem rude.

"Ara-ara~ My patients didn't get a tinge of sleep last night. Keep it down, would you?" she said in a friendly-sounding tone, but the threatening edge in her voice indicated that it was a simple font.

"This is none of your business, Kocho!" The eyebrowless one snapped in a quite rude way, a contrast to the lady's calm tone.

"It becomes my business when it starts to affect my patients' rest, Shinazugawa-san." she said, her smile never once wavering as she spoke. "You see, hearing that in the butterfly mansion isn't much of a pleasure."

"Noted." The one with a half-and-half-colored haori said without much of a reaction, though the red in his cheeks betrayed him.

"Thanks for your understanding, Tomioka-san."

-

I find the situation quite comical.

I'll just tell the story to Tanjiro if I manage to remember everything once I'm back in my estate.

I'm glad the sounds that the lady heard didn't come from my place. I don't want to die yet.
