Chapter-25

Vic POV

After putting the letter down I just kept thinking that I just needed to find him before he does something. We got to the bridge just as Mike and the others showed up. We met up at the bridge because it's the only way in and out of the suburb to get to town. Tay and Ben jumped out of the back seat with the twins' Doberman Charlie and ran up to us.

"One military dog at your service." Tony said as Tay handed him to me. Charlie was a sniffer dog in the Marines and they got from the shelter. He's been in the friends and family ever since I met them.

"Okay Jaime, you, me, and Obi will take Charlie, the rest of you split up and look every where." I said. I took Kellin's shirt and got eye level with the dog. "Okay bud I'm relying on you to find him. Take a good wiff." I said as I held the shirt up. Once he got a good sent he started pulling me away and everyone else split up.

"Vic? Where are we going?" Sofia asked.

"Were ever your dog is taking me."

After a couple of miles or so Charlie stared barking and stopped when we got to an old run down trailer home.

"God first your boyfriend now you?" I heard Rian say behind me. "What are you faggots doing at my house?" He spat with so much hatred it sickend me and I was not putting up with it at all.

"Listen here you homophobic prick! You can say what ever the fuck you want to about me but don't you dare bring Kellin into this or I swear to God you need medical help to fix you pretty little face." I said practically feeling my blood boil. All Rian did was laugh. "You think this is fucking funny you son of a bitch!" I yell.

"Yea actually I do because wasn't I the one who messed up your pretty little face that one time in the bathroom?" I quickly let go of Charlie's leash and ran at him with full force and the onlything I wanted to do was hurt him. Bad.

Before my fist could hit his face I was being pulled away from him by Jaime and Rian was being pulled away by some old guy.

"What the hell is going on here?!" The guy asked.

"None of your business Joe, now let me rip his head off!" Rian said struggling out of his gip.

"No! It is my business if it involves my step son and my son!" He yelled. Everything stopped and all eyes (except for the guys) were on me.

"You mean Vic?" Rian asked eyeing me from head to toe.

"No you idiot! Kellin." He said shamefully. So he was Kellin's dad. The homophobic asshole who abandoned him and his mom.

"We have to go." Jaime said pulling me away. He took Kellin's shirt out and held it up to Charlie's nose again.

"That's one of my old shirts." Joe said. I looked at the man completely disgusted because after all these years Kellin still had it even after what he's done to him.

"Yea well it's Kells favorite I'll have you know." I said with as much attitude as possible. He looked at me as Jaime began walking with Charlie and Sofia.

"Rian in the house, now." He said. Rian rolled his eyes and walked away. Joe, Kellin's dad, looked at me and sighed. "Is he okay?" He asked.

"You have the nerve to ask that." I said and started walking away. I caught up with Hime and Sof before I heard him behind me.

"Hey kid! Wait!" The others stopped and I told them to go and that I'd handle it. I turned around and watched the man came up to me.

"What do you want now?" He stopped looked me straight in the eye before saying.

"I don't want him to die. I know it's my fault he wants to, because I left after he told me. I just couldn't handle it at the time because I'd just lost my-"

"You know that's just a fu.cking excuse so you don't have to face the fact that you left because he was every thing you never wanted him to be! Get over yourself. If you want to be in his life then fine it's up to him, you're his father and I have no say in this, but if you want to apologize for your mistakes then you'll have to stop being a pu.ssy and do it!" I said taking a deep breath to calm myself from my rant.

I went to leave but he stopped me again and pulled out his keys. "I'll take you, it's the least I can do." He offered. I shook my head and tried to walk away again but my phone rang.

"Hell-"

"He's at the west park you need to get here fast! He's on a window ledge of an old building! Hurry Vic!" I heard Sofia yell in my ear followed by Jaime yelling to kellin.

"KELLIN! DON'T-" and the line went dead.

"That offer still on the tabel?" I asked and he nodded. "Good we need to get to west park now!" I said runningbto the car.

We got to the address that Sofia sent me and Kellin's dad's eyes swelled with tears as he watched the scene unfold. I rolled my eyes at how ridiculous he was acting and raced out the car.

"What's going on?" I asked. Sofia just pointed up with a shaky hand. My eyes followed to where she was pointing, I felt my knees go week under me as I was Kellin staning on the edge crying. Every one was watching and the fire department what trying to do something but they don't know what.

"I'm going up there to see if he will listen to me." I said and took off running. I ran up the stairs two at a time to try and make it there faster before he jumped. "Kell. Please, don't do this." I whispered as I go to him.

"No just stay back Vic! I don't want you to see my like this again." He yelled getting close to the egde.

"No Kellin please. I'm sorry I put that part in the song and I'm sorry for what I said! I know it was stupid of me to say that but you have to know that I love you and I never meant to hurt you. If I did I truly am sorry." I said as tears dripped from my eyes.

"It's not only that. I still can't live with the fact that I killed Sara! My own twin sister! She was every this to me!" He said a little louder.

"Kellin, baby you have to know that it was an accident. You didn't know that it was going to break. Stop blaming yourself. It's not your fault." I said. He looked at me and shook his head.

"Yes it is Vic! I stomped on the fu.cking ice and it cracked! I should have been the one to drown! NOT HER! ME!" He yelled. I took a deep breath and stepped out on the ledge with him.

"No baby, it's not. What would she say if she was here right now? Huh? She would say that you shouldn't do this. That you should live and remember her for the better. She still lives in you Kellin, and if you go so does she." I said. He looked at me for a moment and looked at his feet. "Please just take my hand. I'll hold you." I said as I extended my hand to him.

"I'm sorry, I can't." He whispered turning around. "I love you Vic. Always remember that." He added before leaning back.

OMG!!!!!! IT'S OVER?!?!?! NAH!!! Don't worry guys I'm not that evil. I have a very short Epilogue after this chapter so this isn't the end just yet!!!! Anyhoe!
