You were sitting at your kitchen table eating breakfast and scrolling on your phone. The past five days, you've been spending all your time with your friends and mostly at the tattoo parlour. It was refreshing to just talk and laugh with all of them and you were starting to go out to more parties with Donna and Rosaria- Jean would come occasionally if she had finished her work but she usually always wanted to tag along.

Last night you had a small party with all of them at a beautiful restaurant Jean had found and your head was killing you right now. "Ugh.. why did I eat all that food.." you asked yourself as you rubbed your temples and kept eating, wiping the food crumbs off the table.

You ate silently, drinking quietly as well as pondering about what you should do today. Nothing. You smiled as you kept eating before your phone rang. You picked it up and put it on speaker. "Hello?" You asked as you heard the voice of Lisa as well as some others talking in the background.

      "Hi Y/n! How are you?" She asked you as you adjusted the Diamond Tiara you were wearing on your head- the one gifted from Neuvillette.

      "I'm fine, what's up? Did something happen?" You heard her laugh on the other line nervously as you sighed already knowing you were in shit.

      "Oh! Hahaaa.. um.. yes-"

      "What is it Lisa?" You asked as you drank from the bee glass you bought.

      "You know how um, back in October I was doing who was the towns best couple? And everyone had to vote for who they thought it was and the winners got to be the towns Queen and King for the day..?" You tried remembering when that was before you nodded.

      "OHHH- yes, yes! Yeah.. I remember" you had no idea what she was even talking about as she went on.

      "Well.. um.. it was You and Zhongli. The town chose you both as the best couple." You nodded again.

      "Oh okay. Now what?"

      ".. you have to be Queen and King?"

      "Lisa," you asked as you pushed your empty plate to the side as you stared into your glass. "If the town was picking people in October, why do we have to do this Now? In February?"

      "Because it's always been like that! It's the winter Queen and King of the town- and it always happens in February!"

      "Well, who the hell was it last year?"

      "Shenhe and Yelan! But they moved that year too so.." you sighed. This is awkward.. you chewed your lip in contemplation.

      "So .. does Zhongli know?" There was a small pause before she sighed.

      "Yes.. please do it- the town is looking forward to it. It's a ritual you know that-"

     "Just lie and say it's someone else then"

      "Y/n- the towns people know who they put when they voted BEST COUPLE.. please?" You sighed and nodded.

      "Okay. Do I have to wear something or..?"

      "Yes! I have beautiful costumes for you and Zhongli, come quickly!" She said as you said bye and hung up. You haven't been thinking about Zhongli for FIVE DAYS and now that he was brought up again it made your head fall loudly against your kitchen table as you let out a long sigh.

      "Oh Zhongli.. why are we so complicated.." you uttered as you stood up and decided to get ready. You washed the dishes and your hands as you walked to your room and got dressed. I guess I am doing something today then.. you put your Tiara next to your other gifts as you stared the the bouquet Zhongli made you and the note and ring he gifted you.
