˚⋆ ✧𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐀.. 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄?ꔛ ༘✩

You were cleaning your house meticulously for the past hour but soon after you had just given up. You kept your hands on the sides of your hips as you stared around your somewhat clean home.

You gave a nod of satisfaction, thinking you did a great job before sitting back on the couch. Today, you and Zhongli were having another date! And it was at your place this time since he'd been wanting to come over.

It's been almost a month since you and Zhongli had been together, but it felt so much longer due to the history you two shared! Because of this, Zhongli had really been going all out.

From buying you bouquets of fresh flowers, taking you shopping with whatever money he had earned to making you all sorts of delicious food!

Since the two of you were now public, most of the town was relieved but some others felt jealous and upset. They thought that Zhongli was doing too much for you, some even argued that he was acting more like your assistant than your boyfriend..

You couldn't help it that he was madly in love with you though! And you always returned the favour.. or at least you tried. It was hard to spoil Zhongli in return when all he did was turn it back onto you. Don't worry though, he would always remind you that, "you don't have to do all that for me, being with you is just enough."

You'd be lying if you said it didn't melt your heart.. he was attractive, romantic and attentive to all your needs and wants! What more could you ask for in a partner?!

You pick up the remote control next to you and turned on the TV. You and Zhongli were gonna cook together when he'd arrive so the only thing that was prepared were some vegetables and other ingredients that were set on the kitchen counter.

You were sitting back and relaxing, keeping your eyes on the TV when you heard the bell ring! That must be him! You got up in a hurry and swung open the door just to see the mail man instead. "Oh.. hello." You smiled.

"Hi Y/n, this is for you.." he told you as he handed you an envelope. "It seems pretty important so I wouldn't lose it if I were you.. have a good day though."

"You too!" You closed your door and stared at the envelope. It looked fancy and there was some cursive writing on it that you couldn't make out.

You slowly walked back to your couch, sitting down again and tearing the envelope seal off. You took out the gorgeous dark blue invitation card with beautiful designs and tried reading it. "You're.. invited.. to" you readjusted your eyes on the cursive as you continued to read. "To.. a-" you heard your door ring again.

With a sigh, you placed the letter down and walked up to the door, opening it once again to see your beloved boyfriend! "There you are! I was wondering when you'd show up!" You gave him a kiss on the corner of his mouth before letting him inside.

"Sorry, the traffic out there is terrible.." he apologized before you closed the door behind the both of you.

"Aw, don't worry about it. I'm glad you're here now though!" You smiled before your eyes landed on the white plastic bags he was carrying. "What are those?"

He raised the bags up with a content look on his face. "I brought some more ingredients, I also bought your groceries for you." You gasped before playfully hitting his shoulder.

"Zhongli! You didn't have to do that!," he laughed, feeling good about himself since he made you happy. "How did you even know what I needed?"

"Your grocery list fell out of your bag the other day, so I took a photo of it and bought them." You gave him another endearing look before taking the bags and kissing his face again.
