𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐃𖦹!

hey everyone, this is a more serious post but I just want to get it over with because there's not much else to say really. I'm discontinuing this story because I was trying to get back into genshin and stuff so I could write this story but I can't. I can't write a story if I'm not interested in the game. It's not that I hate any of the characters but I'm just really not into it anymore and I want to move on. Plus this book has been going on since I was like in high school and it's been way too long I'm literally eighteen now. I'm really sad that I'm ending the story now because literally my last chapter I was saying how excited I was but I was only excited to END the story. I was low key lying to myself when I said I didn't want it to end but I really do. I obviously don't want to leave y'all hanging so I'll just write what was supposed to happen in like Wikipedia type of format because I did have all the ideas down, I just genuinely cannot bring myself to write the story anymore. I really do enjoy writing and coming up with story ideas but idk when it's with something you aren't interested in, it's difficult to stay motivated. Anyways, here's the rest of the plot and stuff.

Next chapter: supposed to be about Jean on a date and Y/n and her friends help crash it (another friend chapter)

Chapter after that: Y/n and Zhongli go to Neuvielletes dinner party. It doesn't go well, cause Neuvielletes low key hitting on her and Zhongli gets pissed off. It's not a serious fight but it's just Zhongli being jealous and Y/n thinks it's cute and she just reassures him that she loves him.

The final build up of the story/problem and the rest of it:

It's been a month and two weeks since Y/n and Zhongli have gotten back together. Everything is going well and everyone (or most people) are very happy for the two of them until an issue occurs. Zhongli has a very important architecture project he has to work on with a group of people and tells Y/n about how important it is and how she can come visit him while working if she wants.

She agrees to this and they decide to go the day Zhongli is supposed to meet the other architects he will be working with. He knows nothing about them as they are foreigners coming to work in your town for job benefits so you and Zhongli both go to meet these people.

However, when you both arrive at the designated area where you'd all meet up, Zhongli immediately recognizes one of the other architects and she notices him as well. It's Guizhong, Zhongli's ex girlfriend who he had been with prior to knowing you. At first the two of them are shocked and are practically left speechless since they haven't spoken for like ten years.

Y/n notices the tension and steps in, introducing herself before Guizhong snaps out of her own thoughts and also introduces herself. In the story, Guizhong is supposed to be written how she is in lore. She's very kind and caring. Her and Y/n immediately like each other before Y/n asks Zhongli why he seems so shocked to see Guizhong.

Zhongli very awkwardly explains how Guizhong used to be his ex girlfriend as Guizhong silently nods without saying anything since it's awkward. Suddenly, Xianyun (another old friend of Zhongli who she hasn't seen in years) comes suddenly and laughs while saying how they were much more than just silly boyfriend and girlfriend and how she thought they'd literally get married, hinting at how much love they used to share. Y/n gets a bit taken aback and Guizhong nudges Xianyun telling her that Y/n is Zhongli's girlfriend. Xianyun gets very embarrassed and tells her that she was just lying and messing around and that Zhongli and Guizhong were just together.

Y/n just laughs it off as she introduces herself to Xianyun and the older woman does the same. That day, they slowly all get to know each other while Y/n stays quiet most of the time to let Zhongli rekindle with his old friends who he hasn't spoken to in years. Y/n suddenly asks how Zhongli and Guizhong broke up (in a respectful manner, making sure it's not awkward) and Guizhong basically tells her how her and Zhongli used to date back in college and how they started taking architecture together. She said how they were together for like ten years before she had to move back to Shanghai because she wanted to stay with her family since her father had gotten sick. She then goes on to explain how Zhongli just wanted to stay in town because this is where he grew up and that they just parted ways as Zhongli agrees.
