•Y/n's POV•

It was the middle of the night and I was peacefully asleep, wrapped in Fred's arms. That is until light blasted through my eyes, shooting them straight open as the pain blasted through my eyes. I squinted at the clock and it read 4:00 am.

"Who the hell woke me up at FOUR IN THE MORNING!" I yelled, sitting up from my bed.

"Fred, George," The voice said, "Y/n? Anyway, come quick!"

My eyes got adjusted to the light to see Ron standing in the doorway, he was in his dressing gown and slippers. His hair was flying in all directions and he was pale and looked scared.

"What's wrong, Ron?" Fred yawned, now sitting up in bed.

"It's Dad, something happened to him!" He said urgently

"What happened?" I asked, a concerned expression growing on my face.

"I don't know, something about an attack, we have to go!"

"Okay then, let's go!" George said, already climbing out of bed.

"Am I allowed to come?" I asked Ron

"I don't know, just come on." He replied

Me and Fred jumped out of bed, threw on some slippers and a spare dressing gown, tied a small bow in it, and ran out of the dorm room and down the stairs. We were met by Ginny, Ron, and Professor McGonagall.

"Miss Lupin, why are you- you know what, I'll turn a blind eye." Professor McGonagall said, "I'm not sure if you're allowed to come."

"Please can she come, Professor, I need her." Pleaded Fred, looking at her with desperate eyes.

"Okay fine, but if Professor Dumbledore says no, then she has to stay." McGonagall replied

"Thank you, Professor!" Fred said happily, glad that I could come.

We walked in silence down the deserted corridors, the only sound coming from the pitter-patter of our shoes against the cold stone floor. I held onto Fred's hand and silently comforted him the best I can without making a fuss or too much sound. We approached the entryway to Dumbledore's office, a giant Gryffin statue made out of sandstone. The silence was only broken by Professor McGonagall.

"Sherbert Lemon." She said

The Gryffin statue made a jolting sound and twisted and turned into stairs, Professor McGonagall urged us to get on the stairs not before we had to climb them later. The stairs went around and around for what felt like minutes until it finally jolted to stop. We were face-to-face at the door of Dumbledore's office. The door magically opened to reveal the office, the walls were lined with portraits, and a large oak desk standing on the platform.

"Come in," Dumbledore said, "ahh Miss Lupin, I was expecting you to come."

Dumbledore pointed us over at the far wall, there were two seats waiting for us, Fred offered me and Ginny the seat and he stood behind me. Fred's hand rested on my shoulder and I moved my hand up to intertwine with his. Harry stood in the middle of the room, he was pale, clammy, and breathing heavily like he just had a nightmare.
