•3rd Person POV•
The seasons slowly started shifting, the hot August heat morphed into the breezy autumn months and to the cold early December morning. Christmas was a matter of weeks away and the three of them were planning on spending the holiday at the Burrow. Diagon Alley was covered in a fine snow and mist covered the cobbled path.
The store was busier than usual, the Christmas rush had started and the queue outside the store was back and heaving from opening to close. Fred and George looked as through they are in their element and Y/n sat back and watched them achieved their dreams.
Y/n spent her afternoon in the back office, filing through mountains of paperwork. The full moon was hours away and she felt far too agitated to work on the shop floor. She'd rather do other things than the twins backlog of paperwork, but had to be done and it gave her something to do.
The clocked ticked by and at four o'clock the sun began to sink beneath the London skyline. She was in a trance with the work that she only realised the time when she heard three loud thud at the door.
"Come in." She coughed, trying to clear the lump that's been sitting there all day.
"Hello, darling." Fred calmly said, poking his head around the open door, "We have to go in the room soon, I brought you some dinner. George has to help the staff tonight for the shop, but I'll be with you." He added, walking in with two plates of food, "I thought we could have dinner together."
"You're so sweet, Freddie." Y/n smiled, transfiguring a shoe into a table and two pens into chairs. They sat themselves down and Fred sat down the plates. Each had two chicken burgers and chips, Y/n's mouth watered at the sight, they had 15 minutes until sundown and she wanted to be in the room at least a few minutes beforehand.
"How are you feeling?" Fred asked. He looked at her with gentle eyes.
"Like usual." She shrugged shortly, "Sorry, it's the moon."
"It's okay. I know you can't help it." Fred calmly replied, "Are you finished? Ready?"
"Thank you." She smiled at him, "And I'm us ready as I'll ever be. It's the usual now."
"You'll be okay, Y/n." George said, poking his head around the door, "We all believe in you."
"I thought you were working tonight?" Fred asked, turning around on his chair.
"Verity and a few of the temps offered to stay till closing." George smiled, "So I'm coming with you."
"Thank you, Georgie." Y/n smiled, "We should probably go in now." She added, glancing at the clock.
The three of them got up, promising themselves to clean the office the next morning. Fred locked the doors and made sure to add more silencing charms to not scare any customers. And tried to do charms which blocked smell, for Y/n's sake
The sky outside darkened and the light of the moon was appearing. Fred and George turned themselves into foxes and sat patiently waiting. When she got the tingling feeling across the body, she took off her clothes and hid them with the first aid supplies. The twins turned around and faced the wall to give her some privacy.
The tingling increased and the pain was starting to progress. She sat down on the floor because she felt her legs would give up from the pain. It started burning hot through her veins, like lava coursing through her body. She tried not to scream from the pain and instead opted to hiss for as long as she could.
