Chapter 13

Livia's POV.
I woke up and I checked my phone to see if he sent another text but thankfully he didn't so I was relieved.
Aurora was still sleeping and I made my way to the bathroom, having my bath.

I came to the living room and I see Josh sleeping.
Maybe Evan left early.
I went to the kitchen, and I was preparing breakfast,

"Good morning"
Josh said

"You've woken up.
Brush your teeth and come for breakfast."
I said

"Okay"
He said weakly

"Are you okay"
I asked

"Yes"
He said.
Then suddenly he grab the table trying to stand steadily then he collapse on the floor.

"JOSH!"
I shouted dropping the cup from my hands, and I ran to him.

"Wake up"
I said shaking him.
But he didn't move

"Stop joking around and get up"
I shouted, but he still did not move.

"Aurora!"
I shouted her name and she came out running to us

"What happened?"

"I don't know, he's not moving."

She touched his and checked his pulse and she looked at me.
I don't understand that look

"What happened?
I...is..h..he breathing?"
And she kept quiet, tears running down her cheeks.

He must be breathing, check him again.
He's fine"
I said laughing and crying at the same time.

"I can't say anything now, we have to take him to the hospital, right now."

"Yes yes hospital
Let's go to the hospital"
I said picking him up and we going to the car.

"You can't go out like that"
She said at my back.
I was so frustrated that I didn't even realize that I was just in a tight short gown, that barely cover my ass and chest.

We need to leave now."

I said and I entered the car and she also did the same.

Reaching the hospital I quickly call on to a doctor

"Help my baby
Please it's urgent
Hurry"
I shouted, that's when I see nurses approaching and they took him into a room.

I was a crying mess already
I noticed people glaring at me, maybe because of my dress, but I don't care.
I was waiting with Aurora holding me tightly to her.

What will happen?

He's what's keeping me alive and still fighting.

"Will he be okay?"
I asked Aurora

"Y...y..yes he'll be fine"
She said wiping my tears

I said convincing myself then the doctor came out.

I cut him

Is he alright.?
What happened?
Tell me"
I asked still crying uncontrollably

"He needs to be operated on now, cause the next 24 hours are very critical.
The cancer has spread out in his stomach.
And I'm sorry to say if he did not under go this surgery, he won't be able to make it."

I shouted

"Please can you start the operation,I swear I'll pay after it's done."

"Sorry Miss,
We don't do that here."

The doctor said and Left.

And I fell on the floor crying, messing my hair.
