Wonderland

A/N: I know there's already a Realm of Madness, but I'm just gonna change what it's like.

The machine beeped, and everyone rushed towards the computers.

"Has it tracked his location?" Lloyd asked, and Pixal nodded.

"Yes, this is the realm Cole was sent to," She said, "Retrieve the Traveller's Tea, we're going to get him."

Lloyd left the bunker, while the others asked Pixal a few more questions.

"What's the realm's name?" Kai asked.

"The Realm of Madness- though many have nicknamed it 'Wonderland'."

"Like 'Alice in Wonderland'?"

"Precisely."

"What's it like?"

"What you'd expect it to be- constantly changing and nothing is what it seems. Not many people return from the Realm of Madness, and when they do, family and friends notice the person is... different."

"Different how?"

"In extreme cases, it's like their minds have snapped. In mild cases, they appear more carefree, less serious about situations; almost like the Realm alters them."

"Cole's been trapped there for six months, do you think it's altered him at all?"

"There's no way to tell until we see him."

Wu walked into the bunker with Lloyd, carrying the bag of tea leaves.

"Where are we going?" Lloyd asked.

"The Realm of Madness," Zane stated.

"Or Wonderland- whichever you wanna call it," Jay added.

"I will accompany you, Ninja. I have been to the Realm of Madness before," Wu said. 

"Alright, open the portal."

Wu opened the bag, creating a portal.

Grabbing their bags, the group entered the portal, and into the Realm of Madness.

"Woah..." Lloyd said as they entered the Realm of Madness. They were in a thick forest, but it wasn't any normal woodland.

The green grass were covered in vibrant patterns, and foliage sprouted in colours they'd never thought would be on a plant. Unusual animals hopped, flew, or galloped past them, making strange noises that sounded like inanimate objects.

Signs were plastered everywhere, sometimes switching the direction they faced. Shadows danced, and never seemed to follow the light, disorientating the group.

"Be careful Ninja, this place may seem cheerful, but there are dangerous things lurking around every corner," Wu warned, before adding, "Though, it does seem quite different than the last time I was here."

A white rabbit jumped out of a bush, and Jay gasped.

"Look, a white rabbit! Should we follow it?" He asked excitedly.

"Why would we follow a rabbit?" Kai asked.

"That's how Alice finds her way through Wonderland, genius!" Jay responded, and the rabbit dashed off, making him groan, "Darn, it ran away."

"Don't worry Jay, I'm sure we will have another opportunity to follow an animal," Zane said, and the others chuckled lightly.

"Where do we go from here?" Kai asked.
